Replaced our old plastic holder that broke with this new metal flag holder. Much more durable and should last for many years.

I purchased this after straight line winds came through and sheared my other one to pieces it also was a heavy duty one. but I have to have an American flag hanging 24/7 I have it uplighted so that it is appropriately displayed. this one is a little bit more heavy duty than the last one so I'm hoping it will last more than a couple years. I do hang a rather large American flag. I am proud of our nation and what we stand for. I'm proud of our servicemen and women and what they do to keep our nation free. so far this flag pole holder seems to be doing the job of course it's only been a couple months but it is very strong in appearance and is built quite well. if we have straight line winds go through again I will definitely keep an eye on it. I don't like seeing my flag on the ground.

We mounted it through siding to the wood behind. This area is prone to strong gusty winds and not once did the flag come out or the mount itself.

This flag pole holder was very easy to install. It came with all the required equipment needed for the install and is made well and feels very sturdy.

Originally bought a flag and pole with the plastic holder from another retail store. Within a couple of weeks the plastic holder broke. Ordered this one and our flag has been flying high and proud ever since.

Flagholders are heavy duty, 5 stars; hardware is cheap, phillips head screws stripped even though i pre-drilled holes! Ugh!

This is a nice heavy duty flag pole holder. It looks like it will hold up to the weather well. I had to buy a new screw to accommodate my 3/4 inch flag pole but that seems to be working fine.

The 3 x brass screws that come with this mounting bracket are garbage, heads break off turning your simple project into a Nightmare on Elm Street. Throw out these useless and troublesome screws and get some real stainless screws at your local hardware store. Still waiting on flag pole kit to arrive to see if this bracket will hold up.

This item is incorrectly listed. Online it states the holder is made from cast iron. it's really made of cast aluminum. I've had so many cast aluminum ones break when there's a strong wind blowing that I paid 33% more for this one because the seller said it was cast iron. Disappointing.
