How Fun!
I bought this for my 7yr old granddaughter for her birthday. It looks like a perfect crafty project to do with her, she just loves unicorns!

Big hit for kids
This was a big hit for the kids and they LOVE it! Unicorns are a absolute favorite so it was a big BIG hit!! I love that it comes with everything you need with the exception of a container which is easy to find. Please follow the directions very carefully... The unicorn looks really pretty even without painting it so the kids had a hard time deciding if they wanted to paint it or not, so for now they are leaving it as-is... This is a fun activity for teaching kids how crystals grow , love a little bit of science and will keep them very busy and they will be excited to wake up the next morning to see the finished results, I know I was lol... We will be getting more of these kits since this one was a big hit, I highly recommend because this is a great learning kit...

Fun activity
The YOUniverse Crystal-growing Unicorn, DIY growing kit was fun to do. It was was amazing to see the crystals form on the Unicorn, and then be able to paint it however I liked. I did the Unicorn for my granddaughters room. This is a great project to do with children that are interested in science.

creative and fun science for kids
my girls loved this but the amount of water the instructions asked for wasn't enough to submerge the unicorn completely and the horn didn't droid any crystals...other than that, this was an awesome science experiment that my girls loved from start to finish

We followed every instruction carefully, but when we started painting the paint was bleeding through and running through the other parts we painted! Also one of the Christal on the unicorn broke off just when we put it into the water!
