I love this. So different and tasty. Not spicy at all. I added zaterans blackened seasoning to the chicken the 2nd time. Yes, I'm a wimp but like flavor. I like I can control the heat! Eat it on a week!

Yummy and way too easy.
I added some rotisserie chicken, and we loved it. I bought 4 more boxes when we went shopping just in case they ran out. We've always been Zatarain's rice mixes, but this one is really loved. The ease of prep and then cook for 25 minutes makes it a good choice for busy people. The texture and flavor is fantastic.

Love this stuff mixed with black beans and corn and some chicken. It's really good.

Very tasty!!!
First time trying this rice and it was an absolute HIT!! You can taste every flavor in this rice and it has a punch of heat! I used canned chicken breasts as I was just doing something quick and simple to see if I would like it and it was very good!! I'll definitely be stocking up on this rice!

Undecided About This
Tried this for a break from jambalaya. It was okay but I may or may not buy it again. It's not very spicy for a Cajun dish. One thing I was very disappointed with was the spices in the rice mix, they were as hard as a brick. Even when I kept hitting the packet on the counter it would only break into chunks. At least they dissolved as the dish cooked.

Not worth it
Cannot believe this is an almost 5 star item. It had almost no flavor and a little spicy. Probably the worst zatarains I've ever tried.
