Zbar Chocolate Chip Soft-Baked Energy Snack Bars, Organic Granola Bars, Snacks for Kids, 12ct

My blood glucose levels are on the high end of normal and there is a tendency in my family toward type II diabetes later in life. To keep a lid on my carb intake, I've cut back on bread, potatoes, rice and pasta & for breakfast, in lieu of cereal, I now eat 1.76 oz. Clif Nut Butter bar and a 5.3 oz. reduced sugar yogurt. In addition to modifying my diet, I've kicked up my exercise from 4 days of cardio exercise on a treadmill per week to include 2-3 days of upper body exercise at a gym each week. I'm retired now so I have no excuses for not getting the exercise. So far - so good. Until I had to fight getting type II diabetes I had no idea how high breakfast cereals were in carbs. Fortunately, one Clif bar each morning along with yogurt significantly reduces my carb intake relative to eating cereal and also satisfies my appetite. Thanks to your free sample, I'm now considering using a Clif ZBar instead of graham crackers to satisfy my sweet cravings during the evening hours.

These bars are a great snack and or treat. Always fresh and very tasty. Does not crumble apart.

Have been testing and experimenting with fueling for bike racing including using a CGM. Z Bars are proving to be a great source of fuel on the bike. Easy to get down and provide a nice steady "burn rate" without creating glucose spikes and crashes like some other products. Generally eating 1 bar every 35-40 minutes is working really well.

This is the perfect sweet snack! Taste: it's so yummy! It tastes like a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie but in bar form. The chocolate chips mixed in sweet oats dairy a little drizzle of chocolate on top is delicious! There is zero aftertaste and always made perfect. As a girl who will literally craves chocolate 24/7, this is perfect to satisfy my cravings. Size: I have found some bars being way too small. If I am hangry on the go, that just doesn't work for me. But zbars not like this. The bar is the perfect size! It's able to fit in any purse, but satifyes my hunger and cravings with a perfect amount. Ingredients: With most bars, I don't know what half the ingredients on the back or the first ingredient is literally sugar. I mean a bar filled with sugar is almost like eating a candy bar, how much nutrients does that really have? Thankfully, the z bar is different! The first ingredient on the back is oats and I can identify every single ingredient. It also has a very low sugar level and the ingredients are great themselves. I feel better eating a bar with good ingredients that I know. If you want a sweet snack that perfectly satisfies your cravings and has trustworthy ingredients, this is for you! 100 percent woukd recommend!

My Rotary Club purchases these bars for a local elementary school. Teachers were reaching into their own pockets to store snacks for children they knew were hungry and may not have eaten breakfast. We found your bars to be the perfect way to give a healthy snack to a child.

My son lives on these bars so I buy them by the case, however now that Clif is doing it directly they only have the small boxes where as the 3rd party company shipped them in boxes of 18 which I preferred

Maybe it's the packaging, but the adults preferred the regular clif bars. We got a sample so only one person was willing to try it. They said it was fine haha, so really I think it's just the packaging that deters adults away. That and the fact that it only has 2g of protein - they definitely want more.
