Zebco 33 Micro Triggerspin Fishing Reel

I paired this reel (purchased in store), w/ a rod called "the 410 stick"; ordered from Walmartcom. (get it? it's a 4'10" rod.) And a darn nice flippin' fiberglass UL rod, for an unbelievable $11.47. Btw: when did ugly sticks get so GD expensive?! I have 3 sons %26 the cost of going fishing really adds up. Even still, the Easter Bunny is bringing each of them a new whippin' stick to go pond hoppin' w/ their old man. I love my little trigger spinner reel for pan fishing!. Mine is Diawa reel on a 5' UL Shimano rod that I like very much. But it's not as pretty. The 410 is a shiny black that compliments the silver zebco very nicely. I must confess, Walmart's already delivered a 4th "410 stick", and I intend to buy a 4th zebco reel (for Dad). So you guys can stop restringing your baitcasters %26 open faced reels when we're supposed to be fishing, and- We can all start out exactly even, and- Dad still wins (2 outta 3 at least) for first, best, %26 most! No excuses gentlemen! It's on!

It comes with 4 lbs test line. It's too bad they don't give you the option on line. My brother prefers 6 lbs test line. He owned one prior and loved it.

The Zebco micro 33 underspin is the best underspin for price and reliability for pan fish, crappie, smaller bass, and smaller catfish. I've caught 8 lb catfish with a 6 lb crappie line with a 10 foot crappie pole using the Zebco micro 33 underspin. I have several of them in various colors and from several years back that I keep in excellent condition. I've seen people write bad reviews about this and the regular micro 33 because they get it and say it's too small because they were expecting something the size of a regular 33. Reading should be a required trait before you purchase online. This reel is clearly listed as a micro. As such, I have many thousands of hours on these and other underspins, all of which work perfectly well, but I always gravitate back to the Zebco 33 micro underspin. It is pretty much the same design as the Zebco 11 underspin. It takes the stress of continued times of putting stress on the line to shoot your bait into those hard to reach places like under a dock where a normal cast can't reach. This is also a good reel to start children on is you want to get them on spinning reels, without the hastle, until they have the dexterity to use a spinning reel without assistance.

this fishing reel is perfect for crappie fishing bluegill fishing and even trout fishing this real even has a bait runner switch on it you can hear when you got a bite and it's also the right size and perfect for ice fishing this is definitely a universal fishing reel pretty much good for a lot of different kind of fishing it's tough it's durable it's low cost and low maintenance and it works very well and you can't beat the the cost it's under $20 you'll see all that you should get out of it all the happiness will get out of it and that's worth it good luck everyone God bless and have a great day

Hard to find product at a great price with super fast delivery

Smooth running little reel. Cast lever works well and is a good fit for my 12' crappie dipping rod. Strong enough to reel in even the largest of panfish. The reel comes spooled with 4 Lb mono. Though it handles the 6 Lb mono I respooled it with just as well.

I love the zebco 33. Unfortunately this is not a good version. Constant catching while casting limiting it. Won't release properly for casting on every fifth or so attempt. Zebco shame on you.

Cast very well, was really happy with it at first. Only used it a couple times before it started to give me issues. It basically quit spooling. How ever I may buy a replacement and see how that one holds up. Possible that i purchased a bad reel.

My fishing buddy purchased on of these Zebco 33 micro triggerspin reels and it works great on his ultra lite fishing rod. So I ordered the same reel on line $16.47 taxes. Received it and took it fishing, Nothing but trouble, line was sticking coming out of reel and would not cast more than 8 to 10 feet. Took reel back to Walmart, BIG HASSEL ON RETURNING IT! Went back to the fishing area and got another same exact reel and cost me $18.97 taxes. So long story short %231 screw up my fishing trip %232 big hassel on returning it %233 spent over an hour an a half of my time returning it. %234 cost me more $. %235 put the new reel on fishing pole and a small weight and tried it before taking it fishing and it cast smooth finally!!!
