This rod is fantastic considering the price. Needed an extra rod for a back up bait caster reel and didn't have my gear got this one for a cheap 1 day use. I've ended up still using it regularly. It's made well for the price. The color is bright and shiny. It's sturdy but sensitive. Plus, as cheap as it was I don't worry if it break. I normally fish nothing but Lews- this is a heavier feeling comparison. Would definitely recommend
I love these rods. I especially like the 6'6” orange one. I keep my poles separated from the kids by color. Everyone knows it's not pro quality, but I'm not a pro. Even the people on the river who think they are pro are not. An $80k bass boat doesn't make you a pro and neither will this rod but it will fill the freezer.
Haven't been able to use these particular poles yet, but have used this brand in the past and never had any issues. A good, cheap pole that is sturdy and dependable. Looking forward to using this in the future, primarily for crappie and pan fish.
For a fish pole, it was very nice quality for the money and I needed a rod for a' like new 'very old fishing reel. Nice quality an good price. Thanks, Brent
Don't let the price or name fool you, It's actually a nice casting rod! It won't catch any less fish than overpriced big name brands. As with anything, take care of it and it will last!
received on time and in perfect condition. put my reel on it and put line on. seems very balanced and feels nice. haven't had the chance to fish with it yet. I will update if any issues arise when i do use it.
These might be inexpensive, but are great rods. Have a good action and hold up to heavy catfish and bass. I really using them, only time i have to replace them is when i lose one in the river.
Helped me catch some decent sized carp along with the Durango spinning reel!
Unless you want a pretty low end medium action/MODERATE power rod... don't bother. Usable? Sure... but NOT at all what the advertising copy indicated. FALSE ADVERTISING - but walmart couldn't care less.
It's advertised as a spinning rod but it's more like a crappie pole. It's 4 piece collapsible but no eyes for line. Very light weight so not really a great rod for heavier fish or getting loose from snags with heavier line.
