Zefal Pulse Expandable Water Bottle Bike Cage (Universal Mounting)

I was all ready to put this on my bicycle and use it as it's advertised purpose, then I had a great idea. I was about to mow my yard and thought why not try it? Well it works great on my push mower also. In the Texas heat it's nice to have a water bottle handy at all times. It has Velcro to attach it to your Bicycle or anything else that may come to mind. I love finding multiple purposes for a item and this did not disappoint. It's very well made and even held a 1 liter bottle Of water that the bottle is square. Not sure I can mention the brand name but it's named after a island. So it does hold different types of bottles nicely. I really recommend this whether you use it for your bicycle or any other idea that you could strap a bottle of water to.

This bottle holder really comes in handy! I tried it on our adult bikes as well as a kid size bike and it fit snugly. I also like that the bottle height can be adjusted up or down as well as the bottle width. It can hold a bottle with smaller than a standard water bottle as well as one with about a 3 inch radius.

A Christmas gift for husband and son. Of course I tried it out for its quality before I gift them. Great quality and price.

I've started bike riding again and this Zefal Pulse Expandable Water Bottle Bike Cage (Universal Mounting) has really been great. It was super easy to put on, you simply attach it with Velcro straps (see picks.) I love this as my old bottle holder had to be screwed in. It also easily adjusts, another huge plus as I never know which bottle I will be using. Our family has a few different bikes, I ride one for the streets and one for dirt. This bottle holder is great as you can take it off and put on another bike in less than a minute, too cool. I would definitely recommend this Zefal Pulse Expandable Water Bottle Bike Cage. So I got this and was excited to be able to put a water bottle holder on my bike, then saw how easy it was and tried it on my husband's bike and my daughter's bikes and it fit all three. Easy to do and great since it is expandable so it can hold sports drinks that have bigger bottles easily. Seems like it will last and is made well. Directions are very clear on the back (shown in pic).

I did not want to try this for a bicycle, but for my rollator (walker with wheels and seat). It has a basket, but while waiting for appointments I was having to stand up sit down every time I wanted a sip of water. This solves the problem! I use a 20 ounce stainless steel travel mug in mine. The easy to adjust Velcro straps makes it easy to move if I want to use it on my wheelchair. The cup holder part is also adjustable so you can make it fit your bottle or mug. OH - it is on a slant on my rollator, but my mug seals and locks so it is no problem.

My son uses this water bottle holder for his bike and it works very well with his bike. He was able to install it himself with ease. It has convenient Velcro straps which makes it not only easy to install but also easy to adjust to any bike. Overall this is a nice product and is very useful especially on hot summer days when you are going for long bike rides. I would certainly recommend this water bottle bike cage to all of my family and friends with bicycles.

I wanted the Zefal Pulse Expandable Water Bottle Bike Cage for my son who spends a lot of time riding around outside on his bike. We live in the south, so it gets really hot and staying hydrated is extremely important. For that reason, I was very excited to try out this product. Unfortunately, although it is meant to have a universal fit, my son's water bottle was too big for it. He has a very popular water bottle, so I was surprised that it didn't fit. His water bottle is not, however, a biking specific water bottle, so I am assuming that this bike cage is meant for biking specific water bottles. Although we were not able to use this bike cage with the water bottles we have, I can say that this bike cage is built very well. The rubber and plastic are strong and durable. I definitely think they will withstand hard use. The velcro straps are a little flimsy, but they do hold well. The bike cage is also easy to use and adjust. I am sure that we will be looking for a water bottle that will fit properly so my son can use this product and stay hydrated!

When I purchased my bike it already had a water bottle holder screwed onto the down tube of the frame - but it only holds slim water bottles. Sometimes one slim water bottle is just not enough. That's where this handy little item comes in. With the Velcro straps already connected I easily attached this expandable water bottle cage onto the top tube of my bike and tried two different bottles, one thin water bottle and one protein shake mixer bottle which is a much fatter bottle. They each held firmly and were easy to access even while riding the bike. I gave this item 4 stars instead of five because it would not hold securely on the down tube of a bike, because of the steep angle and the weight of the water bottle.

My water bottle is slightly larger than average because hydration is key. It's diameter being less than 3.5 inches, I expected any adjustable strap worth its money to fit around this comfortably. It did not. I ended up needing to cut part of the rubber and install a Velcro strap to extend it to fit, but this probably will not last.
