These filter cartridges from Zilla do a fantastic job keeping my red-eared sliders enclosure clean and clear. The cartridge also helps a lot with odor prevention. These make owning and caring for an aquatic turtle a lot easier. I would recommend switching to this product if you're unhappy with the performance of your current filter/cartridge. They're THAT good.

I think for the money they were a better alternative versus what I previously used. I do like that they come in cardboard instead of plastic also. I can certainly see myself switching to this brand.

They're only compatible with the Zilla filter with smart clean so I had to buy the filter itself, but I'd say it was well worth it!
