Zinus Gel Airflow 8" Tight Top Memory Foam Mattress CertiPUR-US Certified, Twin

The first few nights we slept on it we had to adjust It is firmer than your usual medium firm mattress. We are seniors so our backs often hurt. We have been sleeping on this bed now 2 weeks. We have adjusted to the new firmer feel and our backs feel great in the morning. We sleep all night without waking up and tumbling and tossing.

I love this bed it's very comfortable. I'm a disabled vet and have multiple arthritic issues and I sleep very comfortably here with this mattress. It supports my shoulders and my knee.

i had barely opened the package and it already inflated a lot. it is firm foam but i have no issue with it. i laid on it and it was comfortable to me. i recommend.

I was honestly a bit hesitant about this purchase with the price and what not.. I’ve moved from my current home where I spent a fortune on my mattress and I found this for barely a hundred dollars I wasn’t sure what to expect! But it’s seriously so nice - it isn’t lumpy it is firm and so comfortable. I can’t say enough great things.

when I have a first purchases I was very skeptical until the first night sleeping on it it was so comfortable I fell immediately asleep . The only downside was when I first got the bedding I was not aware that you were to unroll it unseal it and let it plump up for at least 24 hours after that it was wonderful

Says medium but this mattress is SUPER FIRM. I love firm mattresses but even this is to firm for me. Good thing about its firmness is that this mattress will last a very long time as it is made out of good quality. Great price. My only problem is the description says medium and it’s not!

This is not our first Zinus air gel mattress. We've been really happy with the mattresses we bought for our weekend home, so when it was time to replace our master bedroom mattress at our primary home we decided to buy another. Item arrived on time as expected. It arrived in February of 2026, but the box indicated it was packed in September 2024. Most people know that memory foam mattresses are not supposed to remain compressed in the box for more than 3 months, but Walmart shipped this out anyway. When I opened the package, it didn't spring to life like I've grown to expect. It stayed compressed. I left it on the floor to give it 72 hours to do something or anything. 72 hours later, it had expanded in the center, but the corners were about two inches thick. One edge remained compressed to about 4 inches. I initiated the returns process, but they require you to either take it to a store (a king size mattress) or wait for a freight pickup. I decided to do a lot of stomping on the compressed sections to try to activate the foam. It worked for the sagging areas in the center, but not the corners. Two hours of time under the blow dryer followed by a few foot compressions on every corner got it to expand to some degree. Didn't get to where it should, but started getting close. At the end of the day, I was able to get the mattress to expand to 8 inches thick (not 10 as it should be). This is not Zinus' fault. I lay the blame at Walmart's feet. They never should have been shipping mattresses that were held in a compressed state for more than a year. They had to know this and did it anyway It will be the last mattress I buy from them.

It doesn’t hold up meaning it forms an indention or hole where you lay and it rises on the other side. I nearly fall out of bead because it leans and then can hardly get up. I’ve got to replace it because I hate it! I’ve replaced all the slats and even got one of those new slat boards and it didn’t help a bit.

I got a new mattress and left it to inflate for about 28 hours, but one side measures 10 inches while the other side still appears smaller with curve on the other side

The bed is extremely uncomfortable I had to get a mattress topper just so I could make it more fluffy and suitable for my body, but I wanted to test it out for a few months before I made a review because at first I thought it was just because it was new and needed to fluff out and that’s why it was so hard but it’s been a few months. I’ve had it and it’s still hard. I don’t feel memory foam at all.
