They're sandwich bags. They shouldn't be exciting. And yet somehow I buy them over and over because they just work. 😂 Between school lunches, snacks for appointments, organizing tiny toy pieces, storing craft supplies, and finding random things around the house that need a temporary home, these bags get used for way more than sandwiches. The zipper closes easily, seals well, and holds up without splitting open at the worst possible moment. Even my kids can usually get them closed correctly, which honestly deserves an award. They're sturdy, reliable, and one of those household staples I never want to run out of. At this point, I'm convinced half my life is organized with Ziploc bags and the other half is things waiting to be put into a Ziploc bag. 😂🥪💙 Bonus: I've used these for snacks, crayons, Legos, medical supplies, receipts, and approximately one actual sandwich. 🤣
I use lots of sandwich bags. This brand is my favorite. The price is great. A great value. I was very happy to find them in a large box. I use them for individual items and for portion control. I like the tab as it makes the bag much easier to open
These bags are great for sandwiches snacks anything you want to take along to work or play The quality is great. The easy of use, not so great for the elderly, because I am older, it is a little bit difficult to manipulate the bag when I'm trying to open it. Closing it is fine but my fingers don't work like those of a young person.
Wow some of the prompts from their system does not make sense. As I would not put these in the dishwasher even if I had one. They have a good vacuum sealer. I suppose if I did get Venison it would work to portion out meals for the freezer. I do use these for portions in the freezer. I use a freezer bag, one gallon size and place these filled with food in that. I have not had anything get freezer burn, but then again I do no have a large freezer so food usually gets eaten within a couple of months. We use to entertain church meetings here and have BBQ's but now we are a small household, and our habits of food storage has reduced but our methods have remained the same and these are only one tool in our process.
They're sturdy, easy to open and close, and really do keep sandwiches fresh without leaking. I love that they're the perfect size not too big, not too small and I can also use them for snacks, organizing small items, or even storing leftovers. They're simple, but they just work every time, which is exactly what I need for busy mornings and lunches on the go.
I don't think I could live without these. I use them almost every day. This might sound weird but when I cut up fresh vegetables I'll put the unused stuff, the stuff you don't want to eat into a Ziploc bag and throw it in the freezer. I'm disabled and I only get my trash out once a week so I don't want fresh vegetables and fruits rotting away in my garbage attracting fruit flies or other bugs and I don't want that smell invading my kitchen. This works great, when it's garbage time I grab the bag and toss it away. I am not one of those people who keeps every left over container around to store stuff in. I hate having a fridge full of unknown containers. I put a lot of left overs in these bags that way I know what's in each bag just by looking at it. Another thing I do is when i buy a box of cookies even the ones with the resealable flap I open it up and put all the cookies in a couple of bags keeping them fresh longer and it's way easier to open and close these Ziploc bags than it is getting those cookies to seal up properly. I love that I can also put liquids in these bags and the liquid stays in the bag. I like to buy canned mandarin oranges along with some other canned fruit because it's a better bargain but I can't eat a whole can of fruit at a time so I put half of it in a Ziploc bag easy peasy. I really love that I can get a big box of these bags so I don't have to reorder them every week. A Box like this will last me a month or so. They're tough and reliable. you can't beat that with a stick. I have arthritis in both hand but I can seal these up easily and open them just as easily because they have 1 flap that's longer than the other so I don't have to blow on it trying to find the 2 sides. The flap also has a grip on it making it easy for my old hands to hold onto.
We use these bags for a lot of things. We put 2 of each of frozen veg's in these bags %26 put them back in the freezer .Then when it's time to feed our birds we sit them in a bowl of hot water till they are warm enough to give the birds. Saves time %26 easier to do. Another thing we do is but 5 pounds of ground beef %26 make hamburgers .One to each bag and freeze them till someone wants to make a sandwich. Divide kids everyday treats and lunch cookies %26 etc.
The title of my review says it all: the Quality of these Name Brand Bags is DEFINITELY NOT What It Use To Be Unfortunately. The Store Brand Zippered/Ziplock type bags at Walmart's competing “big box warehouse store” knocks these bags out of the water in quality [and value]
I wanted, and thought I was purchasing as described, two boxes, but it is one larger box that does not fit in my drawer. Same amount of bags, I just did not want large box.
I don't see why these are $4 for 100 bags. The cheapo kind have a better design. I needed thick ones and got the thinnest kind around. Stop re-designing stuff. I wasted $4. I ended up getting the cheap kind since they are thicker and have a better closure. These took forever to close and seemed cheap which is funny since they are a name brand Corp.
