Ziploc® Brand Storage Bags with Power Shield Technology, Two Gallon, 12 Count

I recently reviewed the Glad 1-gallon storage bags and I must admit, I like the Ziplock 2-gallon storage bags, much better. The size alone, allows me to store some small clothing items like socks and tops. I recently did some Spring cleaning and was giving away some shoes for donation. The Ziplock 2-gallon bag easily accommodates my size 7.5 pumps and flats. The seal on the Ziplock 2-gallon bags are slightly thicker and sturdier, which is another plus. This product only has 12 bags, compared to Glad's 1-gallon storage bags with 20 bags. One feature that the Ziplock bag has, that I appreciate is the label on the bag, which allows you to write on it. For me, it not necessary, but I like that it allows me to label the contents of the bag, if needed.

Hello, I am a Walmart Sparks Reviewer and I will be doing a review on the Johnson Ziploc 2-gallon Storage Bags. These are the biggest Ziploc bags I have ever seen, and have many, many uses for them. These bags are strong, durable and easy to Ziploc. It can be used to storage many items, such as veggies, fruits, meats, cookies, bread, and pasta. You can storage cooked or raw food and this bag can handle the contents. You can also fit a full-size plate of left overs inside this bag. I personally like to use them to storage my veggie hot tamales, which are perfect for large size items. It doesn't tear or leak because the color, glide lock seal will keep it safe inside. So, you don't have to worry about cleaning up any leakages. You can also use a marker or peel and stick label to identify and date your items. They storage well in areas like the freezer, refrigerator, cabinet, large desk drawers and shelves. Also, these are perfect for school items such as storing crayons, markers, pencils, pens, glue sticks, etc.… A great way to keep all your favorite items in a bag without having to search for them in your desk drawer. I love these bags because of the it size, durability and many uses. What A perfect way to Ziploc your items!

What can I say bout these 2 gallon Ziploc bags except their Awesome, finally a Ziploc bag big enough to for as an example you can put a family size box of cereal inside (in the box), want to go on a last minute picnic no basket no problem these bags will hold all you need, then toss it away (in a trash can of course) or save for another time. I really like what I'm able to use these Ziploc's for, just for fun I put my bowling ball in just to see the fit and if the bag would handle the weight...yep they did& I throw a 15lb ball. I really recommend these 2 gallon bags use your imagination it'll probably fit.

The Ziploc bags are amazing. They are 2 gallon storage bags and the tight seal works very well. I use them mostly for my kids larger toys that I need to store. Very durable very lightweight and easy to close and open. Love the 2 gallon Ziploc storage bags. I also love that there's a place to write what the items are in the bag and that is not removable

I always enjoy receiving items that I can use especially in so many ways! I received the Zpiloc2 Gallon Storage Bags. I must admit that I rarely use them in the kitchen, I am a senior citizen living alone so I don't buy food in bulk like I used to do. But being somewhat of a pack rate I like the big size to store all my other items in. That way I can only put out certain items for certain holidays and keep the rest of my things safe and clean. These 2-gallon storage bags are the ideal size for marinating large amounts of food, for example a “family pack” of chicken pieces or pork chops, or several bunches of carrots – simply place the food in the bag, pour in the marinade, press to seal and place in a bowl in the refrigerator. When ready to cook, discard the marinade, rinse the bag and allow to dry; leftovers can then be stored in the same bag. The bags can also be used in the microwave to reheat leftovers, but be sure to leave a 1” opening in the seal to prevent heat buildup. Although they are press-to-seal (no separate slider), the inside of the seal is textured so that it makes a “zip” sound when the bag is properly sealed. Because of their large size, they are useful for all manner of items – document storage, keeping small electronic gadgets and their cords together, desk organization, keeping printer ink cartridges together, tools, winter clothing over the summer, pantry storage for cereal, oats, rice or other grains, flour, pasta, or wherever needed to maintain freshness and to exclude insects or prevent leaks. I always recycle used storage bags for trash and do not need to purchase separate small bags because the 2-gallon size will fit in small wastebaskets, with a simple rinse and hang to dry. I also pack several empty bags in my suitcase when traveling, for holding wet shoes or laundry, beach clothing with sand, or whatever needs to be kept separate from other packed items. Dozens of uses and I highly recommend them.

The Ziploc Double Zipper 2 Gallon Storage bags are exactly what I needed to pack my belongings for vacation. I needed a way to organize a couple of weeks worth of clothing items to maximize space in my suitcase. With these huge 2 gallon bags I was able to separate toiletries from clothing items. Because of the double zipper feature and the thickness of the bags I did not worry about them breaking open and spilling their contents. Also because of their size, I was able to roll up the dirty clothing in the bags, seal them, and keep them separated from the clean items in the suitcase. They were also large enough to hold several pairs of the kids shoes. The size of the bags are impressive and when filled the 13" X 15" bags offer approximately 11" X 13" X 4" storage capacity. So rather than thinking of these as something to use in the kitchen only, I find them perfect for storing a wide range of items for the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, office and work shop. I noticed on the box that the bags are recyclable if clean and dry. They certainly worked well for my vacation.

I have used this 13" x 15" 2 gallon size in the past. but it appears it has been improved and is now more sturdy. Summer canning season is here and this bag is perfect for oversized items like corn on the cob. The bag also accommodates a dozen or more apples-pears- oranges to keep them moist in a fridge area. I make home made pizza and can prep several at a time on a 12'' pan and store or freeze the entire item in a single zip bag to have ready for later. So many other uses -- magazine / large item storage for dust protection. We make '' blessing bags'' for shut ins and the homeless and the bags provide lots of space for multiple items. These bags seem to have an improved dbl zip opening that looks hard to tear. Previous bags had some issues for me. The bags do not have a mil thickness [ they should have!] but they appear to be very good quality for long term freezer storage [ 6 months for me.] They are pricey but very good quality. I received a cost free 12 pack as a Spark reviewer. I'd prefer to buy in multipacks of 25-50 bags for my uses. Some box provided info - an SC Johnson company / printed in English and Spanish / recycle friendly box and plastic / my bags were made in Thailand and sadly not in the USA / there is a double zip closure I prefer over a slider for the best sealing. A small ink friendly writing spot is on each bag. I'm pleased and appreciate good quality storage packaging-- thanks Ziploc!

I love the size of this zippered storage bag. My pantry cupboard the areas where I put things don't have really high height so for flour for example I didn't want to buy a tall container so the 2.5 kg bag of flour fits in this storage bag which I really like. The zipper when you push the two sides together it goes nice and snug it's very easy to close it.

This is a 2 gallon storage bag with 12 bags per box. It is really large and would be good to store clothes like sweaters in for the summertime when not in use and to keep moths away from your sweaters. I buy meat from a market that delivers to my home and have used the smaller bags to wrap my 8 ounce seasoned hamburger patties in and then place all of them in the 2 gallon storage bag and into another container and then to the freezer. If these were freezer bags, I would have just placed them in the freezer without the use of one of my plastic containers, but they are not thick like the freezer bags, so I did not want my meat to ruin. Another item you might want to place in these would be lettuce or maybe fixings for a salad without the dressing and make a large batch to be used during the week. Also, if you have a plate of food that you are not going to eat promptly, then take one of these bags and put the plate with the food in it and close it up and when you are ready to eat, remove from the refrigerator and open bag a little and then place all of it in the microwave to heat up. There would be no spattering in your microwave. The storage container would alleviate that problem.
