My son is 8 years old and he needed my help to put this together, which was perfectly fine. It gave us the opportunity to do something together and thus bond. I had as much fun putting this together as he did. The end result was great. Makes a great gift either as stocking stuffer or Easter basket or just because.
Whenever possible we like to give the kids building toys. We allow limited amounts of time to play video games. Kits like these (Zuru Max) are a great healthy distraction from video games. This kit has approximately 40 pieces which they can assemble or add to another kit they have. They love these.
My son got to try Zuru Max build mystery toy. It is a building block toy like lego. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the toy. The blocks stick together easly and stay together well once completed. I was able to toss and crash the toy once built without it falling apart. I never buy anything but lego, these are actually a close match in quality and strength. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I would definitely buy these in place of lego. I think their quality is superior to Mega blocks.
As soon as my child saw the Zuru MAX build more mystery egg it sparked his curiosity, he was instantly drawn to open it and find out which vehicle he had to build. He had an awesome time building it and when he was done he started playing with the car using his imagination. What a great and fun building toy.
I feel like I am not supposed to say the product that you would compare it to, but I figure you can guess what it is like and I just wanted to let you know that the blocks fit together to have fun and you can use them to make your own creation as well
Zuru Max had my child jumping up and down with excitement. He opened his egg to be surprised by which Max he would be building. After building it he raced it around the home and asked for another one! We will be getting more eggs soon!
My 11 year old son helped me with this review. He loves building blocks, legos. This capsule came with a plane build. While my son was excited and enjoyed building the plane, he did have some complaints. First he said the instructions for the build could be a little more clean. Some of the instructions were a bit hard to read/see if we were putting the blocks in the correct place. Also, he said that the blocks do not seem to want to hold as well as other brands of building blocks. But other than that he really enjoyed building the plane. He said he likes that it comes in an egg capsule also. All in all, he said he really enjoyed it and wouldn't mind getting more to build.
these are great for easter egg hunts/baskets, goodie bags etc. There are only 8 designs, so i ordered 8 eggs. ive ordered pre-filled eggs with brick mini builds before, but never gotten doubles, and those ones were 25 builds at a time. I ordered 8 eggs, they have 8 designs. I got 2 doubles. lame. It wouldnt take much to make sure customers dont receive doubles unless they order so many that there isnt a choice. I couldve just grabbed them in store, but i was purposely trying to avoid doubles. Minor complaint for some, but a deterent to buying again for me.
So first thing the instructions were confusing for both me and my son, in the first steps the way the picture shows in the instructions is the opposite of how you need to build it the rest was fine, however to click in the blocks wasa little hard and while trying to clickthe whole thing breaks apart so you need to be very careful, finally we managed to finish its a pretty cool looking race car and it rides too .
These were just ok. They are what they say they are, a building toy. There are tiny pieces in them. My boys liked them but I felt a little let down that both that we had were the exact same.
