I have gone thru a lot of ball mouse's. Usually it's the primary button that goes out or one of those little plastic bearings gets a flat spots on them that causes the mouse to loss pointing features. Using them for gaming while sitting in a chair is one of its best features. But I have found that regular old side mounted ball mouse work just as long as a 100.00 mouse. All those switches to increase performance and speed do help some but when in the middle of a game and you accidentally push the switch that causes the enhancement is a bummer. So you have this expensive mouse that has sw/ on the bottom side the side that you end up never using. So this Logic mouse is reasonable priced with fast response and pinpoint accuracy seems to be working. Being pinpoint accurate helps in getting in between words to edit pushing those little arrows on the side to center screen roll etc.. I haven't had this mouse long enough to know whether it can get past the 6 month use mark that's most start to fail. Nor know how long a cheap (off brand) or expensive (Duracell) battery lasts. I've have rechargeable mouses that have outlasted most mouses before going bad. I wish this mouse had away to use rechargeable batteries. Now the top buttons next to the mouse ball actually seem to do something helpful. The ease of use is good. Buttons so far so good but I have just gotten it. If I can get away to update this in a couple month I'll update its performance.
This a great mouse for someone with the same condition as me. You can feel the difference immediately. I drop the mouse twice. I have a cat, the ball of the mouse fell off, and I was worried, but I just put it right back and keep working fine. I have two years with mine, and when this one expires, I will get the same mouse. Highly recommended.
I've used many different wireless mouse before, and I can honestly say that this is my favorite, especially for using it while sitting on my couch. With regular mouse, it used to put a strain on my wrist, which hurt, but this one doesn't have that issue at all since I'm just moving my thumb. The only downside is, when a task requires a fine movement (e.g. e-signature), it's hard to draw lines concisely. But, I still give 5 stars because pros definitely outweigh that con
This trackball lets you surf the web, manage your hard drive, edit photos, and any other image without stress on your right arm and hand. I have just wore out my trackball (same model) after years or hard use. The left button got very noisy. My wife has one of these trackballs also. You wont be sorry you ordered one of these
Ergonomically friendly and does not hurt your hand or arm after having rotator repair or carpal tunnel . Recommended by physical therapist. Wise investment.
The last one I had (same brand, older model), I had for for more than 15 years!!! With that kind of history, I'll stick with it.
Have used a track ball mouse for years will never go back. Hope this one lasts longer than the last one.
GREAT MOUSE!! WOULD PAY MORE IF THEY GAVE THE CONSTRUCTION BETTER/ HIGHER QUALITY CONSTRUCTION (USE SOME METAL) MADE IT MORE DURABLE AND WEIGHT.
Works well, but wish it lasted longer. This my third one, the first two lasted about two years each. Price is less than half of the new Logitech model or the Kensington. It needs periodic internal cleaning every month or so. Keep it clean by popping out the marble, blowing and wiping out the dust bunnies, keep tape over the access hole on the bottom. I might try the Kensington next time around.
This mouse was definitely a returned item . When it arrived the plastic case was slit open and when I took the mouse out the light came on at the top. The switch was in the on position so I am sure there is not an 18 month battery life on this one. Also the pads on the bottom look like it was used. The only reason I didnt take it back to the store is because I am high risk so can not go out shopping with this virus around. The mouse is working but I am really upset after paying for a new mouse and getting a used one at full price.
