These curtains really do block 100% of light. Thick construction, perfect timing for the winter storm. I expect that they will pay themselves off in energy savings from improved insulation as well. I am buying a second set immediately after this review is posted.

I like that they are completely blacked out! You won't be able to see absolutely any light escaping through these curtains. You or something will have to physically move these curtains apart to see any form of light. Amazing products!! I purchased some sheer ones to place in between the two.

These blinds are quite thick! I do wish I got something thinner in quality because of the look I initially wanted BUT I got exactly what was described. I don’t use them for their blackout quality but they seem to be quite capable of blacking out because of how thick they are.

Can't believe these are from Walmart. Very well made, heavy, well insulated. I really wanted a white backing so the color would not look dingy in bright light. These truly darken the bedroom when the sun blasts through late afternoon and even helps keep the room cooler.

Love these! We wanted a low cost but high quality and very elegant look for some blackout curtains and these will do! I’m going to actually replace multiple rooms with these

They are great quality. They have a sort of chemical smell when you open them, but I'm sure that will dissipate as they air out. They definitely block the sun but the fabric side doesn't look plasticky or cheap. I got them for a large window in my bedroom that gets a ton of sun in the morning and gets me up even on the weekends when I don't have to be up early.

these curtains have successfully blocked that summer western sun and increased our a/c efficiency substantially. Looking forward to perhaps lower energy bills this summer.

The curtains are well made and the length it’s perfect for what I needed. I love the linen material and color.

NEVER received the item! Endless chats either Walmart, FEDEx and the Seller! According to FEDEx there was no Apartment Number on the Label, which is very well documented on the Walmart Account and it appears that my signature was forged as well and on top of it they are NOT refunding me my $100,-. Needless to say that my advice is STAY AWAY from that Seller!!
