Titanium doesn't rust, was very happy to find this knife set. each blade has its own plastic or nylon blade cover. the knives are very sharp and sturdy. I needed a starting over knife set for an economical price, German made has always been a winner for me. stainless can have pits and rust spots after going through the dishwasher. This blue set is titanium and rated dishwasher safe. so far so good. I bought a pack of tough bagels and the bread knife didn't want to cut them so it's not as high quality as say Henkel. but it will work just fine on fluffy bagels and other breads that don't have very hard crusts. I would buy these again. thanks.
The craftsmanship of these knives are of great quality. Titanium is the best!! The only downfall is that there's no block to put them in. Definitely dishwasher safe. Love these chef knives. They cut items with ease!! Would recommend if you want your knives to last a long time!!
great knife for the price slices tomatoes and veggies with ease. I have purchased higher priced knives and they did not work as well would definitely purchase more if they had a complete set with steak knives etc.
They are the best knives I have used in years! I have a separate drawer full of knives that I bought and are junk! These are smooth as molases cutting through everything. Finally I found something worth my money and can actually enjoy using. Price was also an offer you can't pass up!
This a decent knife the set for your kitchen. Given the price, you get what you get what you pay for. The handles are sturdy and the knives esthetically look good in my kitchen because I have accessorized my kitchen with black accessories. The blades are fairly sharp and do the job, for now. What I really like is that each knife comes with its own protective knife sheath. Overall, I'm happy with the set and hope it lasts for a bit. It's good buy if you're looking to save money and need a fair set of new knives for the New Year.
Knives look well made, and like they would handle the dishwasher. Like the blade covers to protect them and me when they are in the drawer. Too early to say how they will hold up long term.
The blade paint is coming off. The colors is beautiful, but they're not sharp enough and the color is coming off the blade when I wash them. I would would not recommend him would not buy them again.
I was so excited about buying these blades. I had them in my cart for a long time. Only because it's hard nowadays to purchase certain things. So finally I bought them and I was so excited and ready to use them. As I went to slice my first item, I was so mad because it didn't cut through at all! The knife was dull! And that made me more mad than anything, because that was the reason why I wanted new knives. I didn't know that they wouldn't come pre-sharpened. It did not say that when you buy them. And until this day, I still have not used them because I need a knife sharpener and I just not have gotten to do that. I figured you buying a set of knives at an expensive price or expensive to me anyway that they would already be everything that you wanted them to be.
These knives are super dull. No joke! For instance, on the paring knife, you would do better to buy the Walmart $.98 paring knife, which is much sharper than this paring knife. The other knives in the set are dull as well. I'm very disappointed that the blue color of the blades have faded, scratch, tarnish, turned black since using the knives. And I've only used the knives once or twice! For instance, on this Paring knife, I used it twice to peel six of the little cutie oranges. 🍊 And I noticed the blue blade literally had turned black on the tip and on the sides of the blades, I don't know if it's from the acid of the oranges? But no matter, the knives blades should not have faded or changed color! Note; I used Dawn dish soap and warm water to wash them and I dried the knives with a soft dish towel. If you look at the photos, you'll see how these pretty blue blades turned black on the tip with splotches of black on the sides. You'll also notice there's some scratch marks on the blades and I'm not sure how that happened. I hardly think peeling oranges or cutting up sliced carrots that were in a can and were already soft when I diced the carrots up smaller would scratch the blades! And by the handle on one photo you'll notice a little spot of what looks like rust. Not only are these knives very, very dull, the blue color on the blades literally comes off or turns black and scratches quite easily! It makes me wonder if the blades don't have a blue Teflon coating on them. They're obviously not stainless steel! The blue color is obviously temporary! I'm very disappointed because these knives initially looked so beautiful when I first displayed them on the wall. But if the knives are all going to turn black, tarnish, scratch and rust, nobody wants to display that unsightly and dirty, looking knife set on their kitchen wall! 😡 This is a very inferior quality of knives. Like something that you'd get at a dollar store! I'm really disappointed because I really loved the blue color. I'm actually fighting with myself to have to return this blue-colored knife blades set because the blades are so dull and now they look unsightly and dirty. I've only used them twice! And I'm sure if I kept these dull knives over time, they will look worse and worse. I would not recommend anyone wasting their money and investing in these inferior quality knives; especially not for a gift!
I have no idea how good or bad this product really is. Walmart chose to use FedEx so I didn't get the product. How many times do you have to refund my money before you quit using FedEx?
