150 Mixed PAMPAS PLUMES COCKSCOMB Celosia Plumosa Flower Seeds

Growing the tiny seeds and nursing them to seedlings resilient enough for repotting were challenging for me (as amateur). That I did all this indoor during winter, relying in LED grow lights only, did not help. But the results have been totally worth it. The yields of seedlings (number of seedlings per the number of seeds used) and the yields of plants from surviving seedlings were low: 1 to 7 to 1 in 10. But i genuinely believe they were my own amateur' s shortcomings. The LED lights are of course no substiture for sunlights so my plants are leggy. OTOH, the colors, the gracefulness of the plants, and their resilience when transplanted outdoor (at the grave site of a loved one) are enough proof to me that the vendor had sold me a quality product. I wholeheartedly root for their success. What I learn: 1) the plants need deep containers as their root are so sensitive to overwatering (a mistake so easy to make !) ; 2) if one chooses to use plant food: water soluble granules such as 'MiracleGro bloom booster' is best, the ready to use liquid (shipped in pump-bottle) type are too concentrated for this plant (leaf burn is the consequence ) Thank you to Walmart for offering a good product from a good vendor.
