Pennington Bermudagrass Grass Seeds for Full Sun Lawn, Grass Seed, 15 lb

I'm not a yard person. These were easy to spread. I did cover with thin layer of top soil. I didn't water as much as directed, but I've got sprouts and growth. My lawn is looking better already. Worth a try, if you're willing to put in some effort. I'll purchase again!

All the rain probably has something to do with the success, but i had a large area walk path with zero grass that used to just be a mud pit when it rained, but now its all grass and looks so nice. No more mud. Excellent germination results.

When I got the bag of bermudagrass I brought in my house and put in a closet because I needed to wait on putting it out right then. Well, I move it from the closet and then noticed the bottom of the bag must have been wet from shipping it to me or it was from the shipper. The bag has about a fourth of it that is bad. The seed had germinated in the wet bag, so I need to find something else to put the good part in the save it (I hope) till weather let me put it out.

i was given the opportunity to get five dollars for my review which i will gladly take because the product did not work. i researched and visited the Pennington website. i made sure the Bermuda grass was good for full sun in my zone in the hot Phoenix sun. i prepared the ground by loosening the top as best as i could with a rake. i used a seeder. i made sure the weather was still cool and i spread the seeds in the spring. the temps were perfect. water, water, water, and what grew in the dirt? weeds. this is the 2nd bag that has done this. it's not me, it's you Pennington.

I purchased this Bermuda grass seed in March, and it has been a complete failure. Despite proper planting, care, and consistent watering, the grass grew thin, uneven, and full of bare spots. It completely ruined my yard for the summer. To make sure it wasn't a watering or maintenance issue, I planted another Bermuda seed from a local store under the exact same conditions. The difference is unbelievable — the local seed performed 1000 times better and produced a much healthier, thicker lawn. Both areas received the same water, sunlight, and care, so this was clearly a product quality issue. I would not recommend this seed.

Grass did not germinate and grow, even though we raked soil, watered daily, and used straw to help with moisture. We are going to have to start all over with different seed, if we want grass to grow. Super disappointed!

I placed top soil in a few bare areas of my yard and worked in grass seeds weeks ago. Even after several days of continuous evening watering, have not seen any new sprouts.

The grass seeds arrived on time with packaging intact. I planted the grass seeds after preparing the soil and used a Scotts® Turf Builder® EdgeGuard® Mini Broadcast Spreader to distribute the seeds. After three weeks of waiting no grass sprouted even after at least two rain showers.

Save your money. This product is not worth the price. I would recommend you purchase Scott's products with is much better. I've waited 8 weeks for the seed to sprout, but nothing yet. Directions were followed as instructed.

I spread this all over my yard and within 2 weeks I have some type of clover growing everywhere I speed the seeds. I know it's the Pennington seeds because it's even growing in bare spots. Where there was nothing before. Now my yard is worse off than before.
