We had several bare spots on our North Alabama lawn that is almost full shade with dozens of trees %26 this grass seed was the perfect solution! We bought three 7lb bags %26 used a hand spreader to spread it. We watered it daily for 10-15 min for the first 2 weeks, then twice weekly for weeks 3 %26 4. In just 1 month (May 26-June 26) the grass has started to fill in nicely!

JUST AN ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL PRODUCT BY PENNINGTON. Sprouts within 3-5 when keeping seeds wet, plant in shade and only water in the mornings. Weather, rain, moisture, shady areas has much to do with growth. See labels, Read directions closely. Good Product. Pennington sells and packages most of Walmart's grass seed Products. :)

incredible Grass I couldn't believe it but it grew up. first I removed the soil loose and debris. second I water the soil. third I toss the grass seed on the area without measure just common sense about enough coverage. Forth I covered the seeds with compost soil Bougt at Walmart for $4. fifth I watered again and that's all. after 3 days I noticed tinys sprouts. 1 week later was completely grew up. the collage pics is 2 weeks laters. Tips: The clue is pick the right seed according your area condition, full sun, partial sun, shadow.

I live in central Florida and have areas of full sun and full shade. This was for the full shade area but we have horrible heat so I was worried it wouldn't survive. It is amazing and filled in all the dead spots in my yard under my grandfather oaks. I have been making sure I water regularly as we have had a dry spell. It is thick and wonderful and super green. I ended up buying a second bag to do other areas as it was so successful.

This is the second time we have ordered this grass seed. The first spreading of the seed was last fall and we are already seeing new grass. Hopefully, this summer will give us greater results.

The price is up there for this grass seed, but you get what you pay for. It’s excellent quality grass seed that is very easy to use. It for sure grows in shady areas.

was very easy to spread out. watered every day. about one and half weeks later, lots of sprouts. this stuff is great 👍. i really wish now had gotten bigger bag for more coverage but it still looking good. considering it was nothing but rooty dirt to begin with, now looking more green. and this is just the new growth. it's gonna look good when it's full grown 😁👏

he came in and looked good within 2 weeks let's see if it holds up in the dense shade since it's mostly tall fescue they must have had changed the seed cuz before it had fescue in it fine fescue creeping red etc
