18-Volt ONE+ Cordless Reciprocating Saw (Tool Only)

I got this item wrapped in plastic, without a blade, box, or instruction book. I could smell from the motor area that smell you detect when something has been used, and overheated (like with drills), and there were grease smudges on it. Clearly, this is a returned item. I could not tell from the WM listing that it was a used item. Does it work? Yes, it works. The price was perfect for my needs. * I would simply liked to have known that it wasn't new. I like that info front and center. I do buy used/returned items, and usually they are fine for my needs as a DIYer - I am not someone who will use it daily to make a living. I am keeping it.

We have had one of these we got in a home depot bundle deal.. Well after 4 or 5 yrs of abuse(work) it broke..I ordered this replacement. It works like a charm! Not heavy or bulky at all. I have noticed its easier to hit the safty lock on it than our old one but not a deal breaker.

Best price available for this tool. I already had this tool and got good use out of it but it did break. Still a quality tool but I had just used it very heavily. When searching to repurchase it I already had the battery and blade. This is just the tool and one blade comes with it. If you are repplacing one or already have Ryobi batteries this is the best value. If you are new to Ryobi you will probably be better off with one of the ones with the battery.

It cuts and does what I want and it was at a reasonable price. I'd buy it again for sure. I just work around the house and do nothing professionally though.

Best value, item as described, shipping and packaging without damage, will be used often, having more than one battery makes it handy for continuous use.

I love this saw! I have several Ryobi saws, and I ordered this as a backup. It is a little saw, much lighter than my other ones and it makes trimming upper tree branches much easier.

This ryobi reciprocating saw works perfect for what my boyfriend needs, he uses it to cut the tops off posts (he installs fences) . A lot of times there is no power to use so this battery operated ryobi works perfect. With that being said it doesn't have a lack of power due to it being battery operated. It is light weight and easy to handle. I gave it the 4 star rating due to the fact that it doesn't come with a battery and charger that has to be bought separately.

Of course I'd love a battery included but at this price, for someone who is already in the ryobi 18v family, I was happy to replace my old abused one. Also, pretty psyched I got free shipping from Walmart membership instead of hiking to Home Depot.

The saw is OK, but I was a little thrown by the fact that when I opened a Walmart box, it was just the saw it didn't come in any packaging, from the manufacturer so I don't know if this was the floor model or what's going on, but it feels OK. I guess we'll see how it does.

My fault was assuming that that just meant no battery I had no idea it wouldn't come in a ryobi box and have any sort of information about it not even a blade
