I don't like the fact that I have to keep my finger on it to keep the seam ripper out. I wish it would stay out without having to keep my finger on it..
The seam ripper itself is good quality, fine and sharp. However, there is no mechanism to lock the ripper out for use, so you have to keep pressure on it all the time you are using it, resulting in serious hand fatigue. Good to carry in your pocket as the sharp part is retracted, and handy if you only have to remove a couple of stitches but inefficient and uncomfortable for prolonged work.
Can't lock the seam ripper in place so it springs back unless you hold button in place which is very uncomfortable if you're clipping more than one stitch. Threader takes special needles so to align with the hook.
