As I checked some reviews that due to presence of Monacolin-k which may act like statins can cause some muscle pain and impact kidney or liver. So before starting it I will consult with my doctor whether I can take it or not as I have high cholesterol .

Haven't taken long enough to determine efficiency

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These aren't bad at all. They don't have much of a smell, and the pills themselves aren't huge. Since they're tablets, they're a little harder to swallow than capsules, but nothing too bad. My only real hesitation is about the “third-party lab tested” claim. It sounds good, but they don't explain what they're actually testing for. With red yeast rice, that matters a lot since quality and purity can really vary, and you just don't know for sure what you're getting. I wish the company was more transparent about that. I also dont know yet if they work, since I have not had blood drawn yet for cholesterol!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was very difficult to open. The plastic packaging had no perforation marks. It seems ok with no preservatives or coloring. There is silicone dioxide though.

This brand is bad. I couldn't find the brand I had used before, so I got this instead. Had my cholesterol level checked last week, and it was very high. This brand does not work at all.
