Ease of starting fireplace fire.
Duraflame is justifiably rated %231. I ordered a different brand from Walmart, but delivery was much longer than expected. We went back to Duraflame

Works
Put it under two pieces of large firewood and it did exactly what I needed it to do kept my fire going for 8hrs without any fuel

Just was I was looking for!
I'm not a very experienced outdoors kind of girl but I wanted to camp for a weekend to have some quiet time alone. I was worried that I wouldn't know how to start my own fire. Dura flame was the perfect solution! I just lit up both ends of the wrapper and voila, a perfect little fire just for me. Just right to make my smores! The picture is with one log.

I never know what to buy the men in the family. They hunt,fish and have fire pits. The logs and firelighters make perfect gifts.

ONE LOG! Not six!!!
This ad for 6 pack is false advertisement! I received one log!! I guess if it sounds too good to be true it is!! I feel ripped off and my birthday gift to go with firepit looks cheap!! I need to go to Meijer and get more!! Disgusting! I wish i would of known i would of ordered a real 6 pack or grabbed some at Meijer

Walmart delivery total failure
The product is great, it is Walmart delivery that is terrible. I only got 2 out the 6 that I ordered, and it turns out there is no way to contact WM to correct that. I eventually was connected to a rep in Egypt, who said he would get me refund. I next got an email that my refund was declined. Wow, Walmart.

Stinky/smokey/wouldn't light
There was a STRONG chemical smell once we were able to get the fire started. The paper burned off and then nothing. We put seasoned wood with it and that got started after we put kindling in with that. Then the duraflame log burned but smoked a lot with the strong chemical smell. When we had to use kindling and firewood there wasn't much reason to burn the stinky smoky duraflame log. We've used the bigger duraflame logs in the past that burned fine so these may just be old (although we just purchased them) or rejects. We bought two and the first one was a little better than the second but both were flunks.
