I make gifts for the men in our family.Duraflame logs,fire starters and firelighters. Makes the perfect gift. I bought zipper bags that are perfect for these. Most of the guys go hunting or overnight fishing trips and at night they're sure to build a fire. Even at home they have fire pits. Not expensive and I have 9 to buy for.

These are the best little fire-starting items to start up my wood burning stove!! A well built vase and these fire starters give me a long lasting fire that needs little to no assistance ! Plus Walmart has the best price around! I always keep these around when it is cold to keep my house warm!

These things really work and they burn a long time. If you are short on kindling, use some cardboard in place of kindling and one of these. These are great.

these are a very helpful product providing it stays lit! it sometimes burns out without catching the cake on fire. then it has to be relit,sometimes several times. not every single starter cake but several of them in each box. it can be frustrating. when there isn't any issues with the wrapper staying lit,these are great.they get the fire going in our fireplace. i definitely recommend these for starting your fire whether it's in your fireplace, wood burning stove or outdoors in firepits or campfire. these are a winter staple in our home!

Pricy to start a fire with this. Use on outside justifies the price. Fordsaily inside its way too pricy. makes a lovely fire like the big logs, which they sliced into this puck and resell at ridiculous profits. If you are lazy and can afford it, go for it.

These work great on dry wood. It took a couple tries to figure out the best configuration because they don't work well the way it tells you to set it up. You still need kindling (the reason I bought these was to avoid that, but that's ok) because it hasn't lit regular dry pieces of firewood on its own. However, with kindling it definitely helps it along and I don't have to rearrange the wood or keep an eye on the fire so it doesn't go out. These do not smell awful the way other ones can; so that's also a plus.

These are hard to light. Just lighting the wrapping doesn't work. You have to hold a flame to them for quite a while to get them to light. Once you get them lit, they do burn for quite a while and will start the firewood.

The firestarters I have purchased from Walmart in the past I have really liked...5 star. I decided to try this version and did not like them at all. I want to exchange them for my past purchases. Duraflame Firestart Compact Water Resistant Fire Starters indoor/ outdoor. These worked perfectly

this is not what i ordered. I ordered 2 fireplace logs not fire starters and i thought that's what i was getting, Im very disappointed in Walmart i've been a customer for a very long time and here lately Walmart has been very bad on home deliveries. I thought that my list was being filled by Walmart employees not Uber / Lyft drivers. Please refund me my money asap %26 i would like a telephone number to Corporate. Thanks

Ordered 2 boxes of fire LogS and not starters. I am 85 years old and unable to package them up and send back. Ordered online so could bring to home. Needed them because of cold. So very disappointed !!!!
