Keep me from being worried with slippery sliming slithering reptiles. I don't even like saying the name of those slithering things.It was a rat Snk

i wanted to try these again to keep rodents and raccoons out of my yard and under my deck and it absolutely works -

use all times in basement and around certain area if house,great for deterring small rodents around house and yard..not to mention closets .

The scent is strong but seems to be doing the job. We split one bag into two cups for the cabinets since the pitch was fairly big. It's been more than two weeks and the scent subsided but still there.

These are excellent for a closed container or outdoor but do no use them out in the open in your home. The smell is over whelming. I like that they come in a bag that allows you to not have to deal with loose mothballs or touch them.

They really do a good job.

These have a much stronger smell than the last mothballs I bought (different brand, different store) but that's a good thing for what I use them for ...repelling spiders!!! But seriously; there's a big gap in the wall underneath my kitchen sink cabinet where the plumbing pipe goes (see picture) and the spiderzillas come in (it's an old house) so I had opened the pack, dropped 2 balls in there and jeezy weezy, the smell was so strong that even though for 24 hours I had the adjacent window open, the exhaust fan on my stove going, and cross ventilation from my open bathroom window.. three days later I can still smell them as I stand at the sink to do the dishes! Not nearly as much as initially, but still ...and may I add that I'm not sensitive to smells at ALL Haven't seen any spiders either, so there's that.. However, I sincerely recommend that you have good air circulation when placing the mothballs (especially if you have asthma or COPD) until the smell levels out, and do NOT use the whole unopened pack in an enclosed space like a closet ...open the pack and just use ONE per closet! Please! Ignore the label that suggests it's a "single use" product by saying it's a no-touch inner pouch--- open it and only use one or two balls at the most per space, FR

Just any other moth balls. Not easy to find but pricey.

Extremely strong smell from the outer bag before even opened, had to wash clothing it brushed against and immediately put bag outdoors. The inner bag had all the mothballs in it, but would have been better to have several small bags so putting them in different locations would not result in touching the balls and reeking of that smell. I don't remembe ever having such a strong odor from using mothballs in the past. Will look for a different brand in future. Not economically priced.
