I am very pleased with the quality and cost of this item. It does exactly as expected for petroleum jelly. No difference in the name brand. I am rather hesitant about off brands however I no longer think of Great Value as an "off brand" It has become it's own Top brand earned by the numerous items that it produces. All are above the expectations (in my opinion). It is one of my favorite "go to" brands when I am shopping. This is a must have in every home. Whether for the lady of the house, a new baby or just a basic staple for the restrooms or nightstands. Definitely pick up a few for your home.
First of all , I can't tell any difference between the name brand and the generic . I use it (especially in the winter) for dry skin . After washing my hands , they are so dry they crack %26 bleed ! With slightly wet hands , I apply some product %26 rub it in thoroughly . I find it works better than most all lotions . And certainly less expensive ! Works well on feet , elbows , knees , etc .
I use Vaseline for healing scrapes, scratches, burns, and cuts. I also use vaseline to treat venous stasis on my legs. Equate brand vaseline works just as well.
I use this to stick my ink caps to my tray for tattooing. It works great for that! I wouldn’t recommend direct contact with skin since there are other natural balms that actually heal the skin and create a protective barrier other than petrochemical oil that disrupts the hormones. Otherwise the same as the OG Vaseline.
This petroleum jelly is comparable to Vaseline in every sense except cost. My only complaint is that it sells out super fast. There are a lot of customers who feel the same way, evidently. I've been using Equate for twenty years or so and I don't plan to stop. I use it for wound care, moisturizing and as a hand protectant when wearing gloves. When it's really cold I use it as a facial moisturizer. I also use it on my feet and slip on socks to keep them soft and pretty.
Cheap and super fast delivery! I use absolutely nothing on my skin and my childrens skin except vaseline since they were kids, and now theyre in their 20s and theyre still using it. We all have beautiful skin as vaseline is a sealant that locks in moisture keeping your skin moisturized Will order again! Thank you!
I can't see any difference in Equate quality for the name brand Vaseline. It works just as well and is less expensive. I love it!
I was very disappointed that this product did not have a safety seal. Nor did it have a flip top lid.
I bought this cause the name brand was not available. Very low in cocoa content. After purchasing the name brand jelly, I realized just how low quality this generic equate brand is. Do yourself a huge favor %26 buy the Vaseline brand! Thank me later
i got this product for my baby to use as a preventative to diaper rash... this stuff didn't help in the prevention of or treatment of the diaper rash. it's a waste of money. Just spend the extra couple dollars and get the name brand vaseline.
