This is an engine starting battery, not a deep cycle, or golf cart battery, or a Lithium. It is specifically designed to deliver a very high current, 875 Amps for 30 seconds at 32 degrees F. It does an excellent job of starting the 40 HP diesel engine in my 38' sailboat. It would also work well in a car or truck, either gas or diesel, but not as a trolling motor in your boat. It is intended to be charged up again immediately after the main engine starts.

I ordered 2 of these deep cycle AGM batteries for my travel trailer. They were not available in any stores near me but the delivery was quick. The problem is both batteries have 4/25 date stickers and they were delivered on 3/1/26. They have been sitting on a warehouse shelf for 11 months. They took quite a while to charge but are within acceptable voltage and appear to work ok. We shall see how long they hold a charge. They have a 2 year free replacement warranty. If they fail, they will go back.

Works great in my camper van. It has a good reserve capacity. What I did not like was Walmart did not refunding the $12 battery core charge do to shop not open. And I was told at the customer service desk they did not know if they would take the core battery, I would have to talk to the shop. And the shop opens whenever they can get two people in the shop.

The battery my boyfriend bought online was great but when we went to pick it up it was dated 4/24 with a 2 year warranty it's almost a year old already tried to return it for a newer one and they told us they couldn't exchange it and the reason the batteries were dated like that was because the battery company stopped making them for awhile and then when they started back up they sent them the batteries they already had which in our opinion is unprofessional and unacceptable and unreliable due to them sitting for so many months

I ordered this battery online and picked it up at the Walmart store. I didn't take it home as I returned it to the Automotive Dept at the store. The manufacture date on the battery was one year old. I couldn't believe that Walmart would sell an old battery as new. I was promptly refunded my money.

Battery failed with a bad cell after three months on a trip to Colorado. Bought an AC Delco Gold which is still working great.
