I couldn't use it for the purpose I bought it for. But it's a very nice hook, well-made and I would think it would do a great job in the garage or any place you needed a heavy hook.

To hold lumber pieces in the garage
Some garage hooks are curved, these are not. So I use a pair of these to lay some pieces of lumber in. Having them in the garage keeps the lumber planks out of the weather. and straight They seem to be sturdy.

ATV ramp storage
Needed a rack to store some ATV ramps and these were perfect and economical. They installed easily and allowed me to store the ATV ramps off the floor and out of the way.

They don't make 'em like they used to!!
Somewhat flimsy. Not as tough as similar hooks I've purchased at Lowe's or home Depot previously. Plus, the bottom hole is placed so it's hard to get a drill lined up for a pilot hole and then to the install screw. Also, one of the holes actually split while I was screwing it into the wall. Thankfully I'm not using them for anything really heavy. but I would probably advise against using them for anything heavy due to what I've experienced! I'm past my return window because I didn't install these right away, so I guess I have to suck it up and deal with them, otherwise I would return them.

What a waste of materials and energy manufacturing
Really janky. The label stayed stuck to it while trying to peel it off, making it look really stupid. The first screw I tried went entirely through the holes. I ended up putting some washers underneath, which deformed the bejeezus out of it. The label claims it can hold 50 pounds; I don't see this tinfoil having the strength to do so. Maybe two hats at best. If you're renting this is probably the kind of useless hook that your landlord puts in the garage for you, then charges you for the damages when it falls and destroys something. Assuming this was developed in a CAD program and went right to manufacturing and being foisted on the American public without anyone actually testing it or trying to use it. Avoid at all costs.
