The first time I had one of these, I was a little skeptical about the taste and texture but they have grown on me and now I like them a lot. I find the crunchy bits in them to be a little off-putting with the fudgy texture of the rest of the bar. I think they are the ground almonds but they don't really taste like nuts in there. Either way, they are not too sweet like some protein bars and are pretty filling. I wish they were a little less expensive for the size and quantity but they fall in the middle of price range for similar products. Good fiber and protein ratio.

I am a pretty picky gluten free and dairy free person and was very happy when I tried these Peanutbutter choc chip bars. They truly are low carb and taste like you're breaking all the rules. They have a slight crunch to them, but are not what I would consider crunchy. I only wish they were a little more budget friendly. I found it less expensive by $6.00 to but boxes of 4 rather than a 12 pack. The only problem is there are only 2 kinds available in a 4 pack that are not chocolate.

These are really yummy! The texture is chewy and very satisfying. My only issue is it's LOADED with nuts and I have IBS so I try to avoid nuts. But if you are ok with them then you'll LOVE these. I am diabetic also and these are a great snack and don't spike my blood sugar. I'm going to check to see if the other flavors are nut free. I was looking for a budget friendly alternative to Quest Bars. I read a ton of great reviews for these IQ Bars, and since they have better ingredients and price, i decided to try them. The peanut butter ones have, I don't know what it is-shreds?! Bits?? Of peanut in it but it's in no way familiar to me across the hundreds of peanut products I've consumed over the years. The bar is very soft and these little bits are like crunching thousands of bits of eggshells that fell into the dough. It's honestly almost unbearable but at $2 a bar I'm gonna force myself.
