Good taste and good for you. Check the ingredients. low net carb %26 sugar. Great for blood sugar issues. i love that they are chewy and the little crunchy stuff in them. Complete protein also. I feel like I get a candy bar for a meal. Too good to be true. I tried the Chocolate fudge and it wasn't my favorite but the choc peanut butter are delish.
The first time I had one of these, I was a little skeptical about the taste and texture but they have grown on me and now I like them a lot. I find the crunchy bits in them to be a little off-putting with the fudgy texture of the rest of the bar. I think they are the ground almonds but they don't really taste like nuts in there. Either way, they are not too sweet like some protein bars and are pretty filling. I wish they were a little less expensive for the size and quantity but they fall in the middle of price range for similar products. Good fiber and protein ratio.
These are fantastic for a high protein, low-carb snack. I've ordered these several times from Walmart peanut butter chocolate chip is my favorite. At first, I thought they were a bit pricey, compared to other bars, but the qualities superior, and after eating it, I'm full for quite a while.
These are really yummy! The texture is chewy and very satisfying. My only issue is it's LOADED with nuts and I have IBS so I try to avoid nuts. But if you are ok with them then you'll LOVE these. I am diabetic also and these are a great snack and don't spike my blood sugar. I'm going to check to see if the other flavors are nut free. The price isn't as bad as some other protein bars but there are only four bars in the box, for reference.
I didn't buy these for the longest time because the price was a little high. Then, all the other brands raised their price and IQBars stayed at about $2/bar, less if you buy the variety packs. They are by far the better value : low-cal, delicious and they fill you up for 3-4 hours. I cut one in half in the morning and have half for breakfast and half for snack. Check them out!
These chocolate chip peanut butter protein bars are really good! They have a great peanut butter flavor with just the right amount of chocolate chips. They're a convenient snack when you need something quick and filling, and they taste like a treat instead of a typical protein bar.
I've bought this flavor of IQ Bars multiple times already. It's a good source of plant protein and is gluten free and vegan. The flavor is delicious and I love that it's low carb and has adaptogens. I keep one in my purse at all times in case I need a protein boost or a quick snack. Will definitely be buying again.
I love IQ Bar's functional ingredients, natural flavor, combo of smooth and crunchy texture and nutritional stats. Plus, it doesn't upset my stomach! I have mild to moderate gastroparesis (delayed gastric emptying) and IQ is my favorite protein snack bar. I've only tried peanut butter chocolate chip so far but eat it as a candy bar replacement so it's all I want. The texture is like PB cookie dough with little crunchy bits in it and chocolate chips. I like that it is soft, easy to chew %26 isn't crumbly. It's not too dense. I feel satisfied without feeling like I ate something heavy. There are two reasons why I gave 4 stars. The flavor is milder compared to other pb choc bars which might be off putting to some but for me I like it because days when I lack appetite I want something mild when I'm basically forcing myself to eat. Secondly, the price is too high. I only buy when they are on sale otherwise I would buy a box every week.
Beyond disappointed. The texture is like if somebody blended cardboard with some peanut butter powder and a little bit of cream and turned it into playdough. It's mouthfeel is what I always imagined glittery playdpgh to feel like and it's taste is rated a 2 stars because it is a step up from tasting like playdough. It tastes like the peanut butter that needs mixed, but somebody keeps on eating the tasty part out of it without mixing, so you just have the gross overpowering part? Awful. Firat time a pb flavored product has so throughly disappointed me.
The peanut butter ones have, I don't know what it is-shreds?! Bits?? Of peanut in it but it's in no way familiar to me across the hundreds of peanut products I've consumed over the years. The bar is very soft and these little bits are like crunching thousands of bits of eggshells that fell into the dough. It's honestly almost unbearable but at $2 a bar I'm gonna force myself. Real shame because without it (or maybe as half peanuts?!) this bar would have been delicious.
