(2 pack) Kaneyama Sushi Rice 1lb

I loved this rice, it cooks well/easily in rice cooker. The texture is good, soft but not mushy at all. The taste/flavor was nice and mild and I was able to use it for many different dishes. I only wish this came in a bigger bag, as I only get 2 (dry) cups of rice out of one bag. But this has become my new favorite. Its good quality, it cooks fast and is not too hard or too soft/mushy.

I like this brand for making my homemade sushi rolls. I get four 1 cup servings out of a 1lb. bag of this brand, and I also make a sauce that I pour over it, using 1/4 cup rice vinegar, 1/4 cup white granular sugar, 1 tblspoon of cooking oil, and 1 teaspoon of salt, give or take, to taste. I bring that to a boil and make sure that I have stirred the sugar into the liquids and let it cool before pouring it over the freshly steamed rice. I cover that with a damp cloth and let it sit in the fridge for 20 - 30 minutes before pouring it on the rice in my wooden bowl. It gives the sushi the perfect taste and it's semi sweet.

I found Kaneyama Sushi Rice to be easy to prepare, easy to make sushi with, and VERY delicious! The rice has the perfect 'stickiness' to it for homemade sushi that doesn't fall apart, and I was able to make a LOT of sushi with just a little bit of this rice. The quality is excellent, and it is packaged in a nice resealable bag. This rice has become a regular staple in my home and I definitely recommend it!

When prepared properly this sushi rice does just what it's supposed to. I wish I could buy it 5 lbs at a time (preferably at a lower cost per lb) but it's a good product and most folks probably only need 1 lb at a time anyways.

I love sticky rice and this rice makes it so easy to do. I just use this rice (and my little rice cooker) and I've got perfect sticky rice in about an hour.

I love sticky rice, a k a sushi rice. this brand is a little more expensive than the others.But I like to try them all.If I can, it does have a great flavor but it's certainly on the expensive side.

I have never purchased sushi rice ever before. But if you're looking for a way to perfect a recipe, then you should buy this. I will certainly purchase again.

My husband requested I pick up more sushi rice recently and this one did the trick. We use this for sushi but it can also work for paella in a pinch if you don't have that rice on hand.

I followed the directions, made it in the rice maker and it did not disappoint. It has the same bite as I normally get in a sushi role. I like the sticky consistency so much, I make this as a side instead of white rice

I cant properly rate the rice on taste or anything else since there was a flying bug in the bag once i opened it. The bug was about the size of a pinky fingernail and flying around at the top of the bag as soon as i opened it. I poured the entire bag into the sink and turned on the water and disposal! This was a complete waste of money!
