Great Support

WonderfulStuff July 7, 2014

This tape is great if you are looking for support that is not bulky or slides off like the sleeve type braces. Once you get the hang of applying the right tension (stretching the tape) across the affected area you will quickly notice the difference. I use the tape on my knee to support my patella after having meniscus surgery and it works wonderfully. I can do my knee exercises in comfort with minimum pain. Again, watch the videos on youtube on how to apply the tape and you will not regret it.

Amazing tape

KennyA February 23, 2017

Gotta tell you I was very skeptical about what putting tape on my areas of pain was really going to accomplish. Boy was I wrong...I'm a believer and full supporter of this. Within minutes of placing this on I sensed relief and it grew over time. I left it on for 5 full days even in the shower and hot tub This stuff has amazing healing characteristics and I highly recommend to weekend warriors like myself who ache after ball or strain a muscle. Use it and you will believe

Works great!

Dana429 May 6, 2013

After walking for years, first for weight loss and then for exercise, I recently decided to start running. After buying a few different kinds of sneakers, hoping to relieve the horrible shin splints I was experiencing, I settled for spending a ton of money on a new pair of asics. When those only helped a little bit, a friend told me I should try KT Tape. I admit that I was very skeptical, I mean, how could a few pieces of tape help something that hurt SO bad? Well, I wish I would have tried it sooner, because the relief was immediate! I easily YouTube'd the video that demonstrated application, which is simple, and felt no pain during my run. While I don't think I could leave the tape in place for 3 days like it says you can (it itches my skin if I leave it on for longer than a day and a half lol), I believe that, as long as you apply it to properly cleaned skin, it has the ability to stick that long! I also tried the original KT tape, but the pro is so much better, and not much more expensive. Walmart was also the cheapest place I found online, and site to store shipping was free and only took a few days! I recommend this to anyone with pain anywhere. It works!

Worked Great!

Brandyleigh35 July 28, 2014

I had a dislocated knee cap and this tape saved my life! Worked like a champ and stays on quite a long time. Very comfortable and much better then wearing a bloody brace. If you warm your skin with a blow dryer, or heat up the tape a bit more after putting it on, it improves the adhesion and will keep it on longer. I swam with mine, showered etc, on average I got about 3 days out of a strip before it would start to come off a bit. I will definitely be using this again in the future!

My hamstrings will thank me

ANTHONY April 29, 2026

I apply this on my hamstrings before I run on the treadmill. It really does a good job of staying on my skin, even if I have some leg hair. It isn't painful to take off as long as you rip it off fast.

Exceeded my expectations!

tgr76 November 7, 2013

I can wholeheartedly recommend this KT TAPE PRO. The cotton tape just DOESN'T stick to my skin for more than a few hours, but I'm on the night of day 6 and my knee's tape is at about 80%. Wow! I'll be a faithful customer of this stuff!

Adhesive quality in question...did they change???

Terri November 5, 2025

It does seem the last 2 rolls I've purchased the adhesive glue hasn't been sticking as long as it used to, now coming off after a few hours when used to stay on for a week even with showering.

Good for basic KT Tape usage for moderate athletes. does not stay on too well or provide much of a relief as stronger versions or different brands

Don't understand the review hype

Greg February 14, 2026

Used the Equate brand at same time as this name-brand. The basic Equate was not only a cheaper price point, but performed just as well for support and lasts a few days past this name-brand version. Literally, the name-brand repetitively starts peeling up along the edges after a gym workout by the second day; very surprised. If you are active and sweat, plan on replacing strips every three days (can stretch up to four if you cut away the peeling parts) which the instructions in the box claim it can be worn up to 8; perhaps if you're not active or sweat. I was surprised by the lack of adhesion. So, by going with a name-brand that seemed like it had all the right reviews I just expected more. By my unplanned head-to-head comparison (only to use up what remained of my Equate tape) using both at the same time, the choice is clear, I'll stick with Equate.

Don't choose this brand!

Moonbeam August 9, 2017

I purchased tape for plantar fasciitis. Followed the instructions, feet were clean and alcohol prepped. This tape does not stick at all! I have since purchased another brand that sticks and stays. I don't know if I just received a bad roll, but will not purchase this brand again.
