I love these clear containers for organizing my pantry. I bought this size and also the larger size. They are great for cereal, snacks, dried beans, rice, pasta, They are durable see through clear plastic with a twist on lid that keeps everything fresh. I have bought a total of 12 and I am so happy with my purchase. The Walmart Mainstays brand price is less expensive and better quality then other food storage containers.

i have bought so many of these Mainstays 2 Quart canisters to store sugar, flour, pasta, rice, beans, quinoa, and even candy!!!! They are not only extremely inexpensive, but they are compact, and sport an airtight lid.....I was able to get rid of lots of bags and boxes of dry goods, etc and ibstead secure them in these perfect canisters. i will definitely be purchasing more of these soon. perfect for storage of just about everything!!!!! A Walmart!!!!!!

These are the best for keeping food etc. fresh and away from any critters. Easy to label or you can see through them. This is my second order... and I am going for a third. I have found so many uses for them...I do not want to be without them. Thank you WM for making them at an affordable $$$$$.

This is a no-brainer if you have puppies around the house. It's the perfect container and size to store all their delicious treats. They get more than they should, but they're really durable and screw on and off very nicely. I even put them in the dishwasher to see what happens, and they washed up great.

These organizers are the best for kitchen pantry. I have been using them for past 5 years now and not once any cannister or its lid has been broken or deshaped.

LOVE these - they are so practical. Easy to store, easy to grab. I use this smaller version in the pantry but i also have two larger ones I use for dry dog food and dog treats! These are so versatile - you can even use them in the garage.

They work well for my dry goods. All my different pasta. Short enough to store easily but wide enough to hold a lot. Not bad for the price. Best thug is the labels peeled off easily for a clean look.

Needed to transfer some small bottles of fertilizer into a bigger bottle and this did the job. The bottles are not sexy but they're in the basement so serves the purpose

The material is exactly what you pay for at this price point, cheap plastic that shrinks in the dishwasher. Because of this, I'd say it's not really suitable for keeping wet food or anything else that would make you have to wash these jars frequently. Yes, you can hand wash them with cold water, but it takes more effort to clean with cold (or even warm) water than hot water. Your time, your effort, and the amount of soap you use will all add up, so I say just spend a few extra dollars on better material if you need something that's washable like your dishes. I keep beads in mine and it works perfectly. The jar in my picture has about 2000 standard size pony beads and has plenty of room for more. It's got a handle of sorts to grab on the back too. They're not really intended for stacking and I wouldn't stack these too high, but you could get away with stacking 2, maybe 3 of these depending on how heavy the contents of your jars are. Even if I wouldn't use these for food storage, they still work great for what I bought them for.

I purchased this Mainstays 2 qt. container for powdered sugar, an item that, thus far, I don't use often. I save my expensive cannisters for foods that I use regularly, knowing that they're geared for normal use %26 the dishwasher. I expect this Msinstays canister to last indefinitely.
