So happy I found these Mainstay Clear Plastic Canisters! I recently discovered a new cold breakfast cereal I really like and needed an easy canister for the cereal contents. This is easy to grab with the indention on one side. The lid fits tightly but is easy to unscrew. My cereal stays fresh. I bought a smaller one for crackers. I also like that you can stack them. This is a WIN purchase.

Nothing special just a good price point on a handy storage container you can use for anything. Bought them to make feeders for our quail, work just fine. Allows us to put a lot of feed into the cage at once and have to refill less often, but also doesn't take up a huge amount of their floor space.

Perfect container to hold kitten food for our new baby. I'm not sure why people are complaining about false advertisement because 4 quarts has always equaled 1 gallon. Plus on the picture of the item, you can plainly see it says 1 gallon on the label. These people are why other countries think Americans are all dumb.

This thing is great for just about whatever you need to store in your pantry. Whether it be rice or cereal or whatever, convenient little canister to hold everything in. I have mine to store flour as it's easier to use the canister instead of the bag the flour comes in. Not as messy as with the bag and a lot more safer from spoilage

I love the fact that the fingers have a place to grab hold of to hold the full contents steadily. My only complaint is, I wish that this storage jar was in glass using the same mold as this plastic container by Walmart's Mainstay brand. I found that other storage container lids do not fit securely and they are difficult to hold and also to remove product that is stored in the storage jars.

This product arrived on time, well packaged and undamaged. I purchased the Mainstays 4-Quart Clear Plastic Canister with White Twist-Top Lid set of 2 to store my cat's dry food. It holds and entire 3lb bag and has a large enough opening to do so without wasting anything. It's very clear container and I appreciate that. I'm sure it would work for storing sugar, flour, powder soaps and plenty of other items you wish to keep fresh and dry.

It took time to find the right type and the right size for my needs in the kitchen. This item is as close to perfect for my needs. Although I'm not a big fan of plastics in our environment, I'm going to give in on this problem. 'It works' %26 it DOES do the job. Tim R.

I bought this to try to use for my grandson to put his little bitty toys in the widemouth jar is perfect for his hands too good in there to grab the little bitty toys and it looks really good so it is good for little kids, but it's also good to put pasta in to put flour in and use your Measuring Cups. It's good for beginners to learn how to use for storage.

Theyre pretty darn good quality for the price. I've used these for storing garden stakes and kept them outdoors in a plastic shed through harsh snow winters and no cracking or anything - theyre still flexible and stay sealed. Ive used them for storing plumbing bits in the garage with other similar containers from home depot that have the bulk pvc connectors in them and these last longer than those. Idk why that is, but no seal issues and no brittling or cracking. These are definitely worth the price.

These are awesome 'use almost with anything' containers. We have a large one we take when we go camping to keep snacks in. I keep my crafting beads in another, and another has candy bars in it on our counter. Versatile, safe for kids AND older adults who don't want to use breakable containers but still have something that looks nice.
