Finally..a sink stopper that works in my sink. I have looked at and tried multiple types of stoppers, only to have the water drain right out like there wasn't anything there. This sink stopper from Mainstays may be simple, but it works great. It creates a vacuum seal once you add water to the sink and stays in place. There is a small part to pull on to release the seal. I really like how it will fit a few different sizes of drains.

This looks like just a flat piece of plastic, but it works well. When pot in the sink over the drain, it keeps the water in. It works like a suction cup. It's a neat gadget. I don't know how long it will last because it's not too sturdy, but it works for now.

it fit my kitchen sink perfect and Bath tub and right now it the Bathtub special Stopper!it does what it made for to keep Water in and not let it out and this is heavy duty stopper i fill the tub with water walk away for a couple of minute and came back water was still in & still hot thinking about gettin one for the front restroom... this stopper is well made and lay flat!

Mainstays Flat Plastic Drain Sink Stopper. I love having a way to stop water from draining out of the sink when I am trying to wash something in the sink. This product has worked wonderfully. It easily covers the drain and grips the sides to stay flat against the bottom. I am impressed with what a totally good job it does in stopping drainage from the sink.

There's nothing exciting or romantic about a drain stopper, yet I was so happy to receive mine. The drain stops in my kitchen and bathroom sinks refuse to seal well enough to hold water. I use my kitchen sink for ice water bathing blanched vegetables, and the bathroom sink for washing up before bedtime. This stopper works in both sinks and keeps my water from trickling down the drain.

This kitchen sing stopper that I just received is very big which I didn't expect, but it does the job it's supposed to do, it keeps all the water from draining in our sink when we need it kept. Good item

Keeps a good seal and the water stays put without leaks. I like the flat disc shape with the small tab on the top. I use this stopper in my tub and it helps to not have a chain hanging from it, so my foot only touches a flat surface. The seal can be broken by pulling on the tab on the top or pulling up sides. The white color blends in with most white tubs. The diameter of the stopper is large enough to fit most drains. It suits my needs well.

After time it curls up and will not stay flat and will not keep the tub or sink water secure. This does not look or act like rubber. Looks like thin plastic. The entire reason I bought this is because of the description which matches the way they used to be made, which really worked (thick rubber) This one is exactly what I had before which I was trying to replace with something better via the description. The one good things about this are : It does not absorb stains like the old rubber ones It is large enough to cover the drain completely. But if a sink stopper does not hold water, what good is it ? Walmart, if you are listening, I think the ultimate tub stopper would be a flat heavy rubber stopper with a cute flower print design or something universal on both sides to help hide possible rust stains etc.

Most people looking for a sink stopper would look for rubber or maybe silicone. This item uses rubber in the name and this item has some rubber in it maybe 5% (just a guess). The description is misleading and any reviewer that said this is a great product did not use it as a sink stopper. This product has a little rubber but is mostly plastic a hard plastic. You can bend this item but it is not really flexible and it is not soft. It is a hard plastic with just enough flexibility that they are not telling an outright lie when they say it is rubber. It has no suction capability in the normal sink stopper position it is made of thermoplastic (look it up) I It did not cost much and I needed something small to use on my bathroom sink. This item ( I refuse to call it a stopper)will not hold water in a sink it is a thin hard slightly rubber like hard plastic and can actually float. This item is worth about 50 cents if you can find cause for it. $2.98 is about $2.50 too high. Take your $2.50 and donate it are even throw it in the trash you'll still come out ahead. This item has zero value. If this product was okay just not great I would not have written a review. I wrote this review because they are flat out cheating people.
