(8 pack) Mainstays Silver Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink Strainer and Drain Catcher with Rubber Stopper

I thought it was a great value for a great price...fit my sink and looked fine. But, it doesn't easily work in a situation where you don't want it to keep the water in the sink. The mechanism doesn't stay in the up position when water is running, so the sink keeps filling up....big bother! Will most likely look for something better.

The quality of this item is fine. I just did not find it as user friendly as I would have liked. I spent more and purchased the Mainstays sink strainers for the kitchen and bathtub instead. I am glad I did. They are much easier to use, clean and remove debris. Buy these instead.

This item was the cheapest, so I bought it first. Like so many others, I agree that it doesn't allow water to drain, no matter what the instructions say. I will use it until I can get a replacement of better value. At least I'm not out much money.

The sink strainer seats and will not allow liquid to flow. the Walmart pickup app is next to totally worthless, placing orders is great. Without fail , I have to go to the door or flag an assosiate. I have removed and reisalled the app a few times

This is cheap and horrible!!! it got stuck in my drain on Thanksgiving morning!!!! I had to waste about 15 to 20 minutes of prep time trying to dig it out of my sink drain 😤😡😡😡 I am returning both of the ones that I purchased. Definitely not worth the money or the hassle to return it.

I tried to use it twice to stop the water from draining in my sink. It stopped it but I couldn't get the stopper part out of my sink.I had to dig it out with another two spoons. Both times I tried it, the stopper part came off of the top part. i know it's inexpensive, but it's a pain to use

The drain stopper plugged the drain effectively but broke the first time I used it. I went to drain the water and the plunging mechanism broke right off, causing the rubber stopper part to get stuck in the drain. I had to stab it with a fork to unplug it. You get what you pay for.

THE FIRST TIME USING IT I TRIED TO GET IT OUT OF THE SINK AND THE BOTTOM PART CAME OFF IN THE SINK I HAD TO GET A KNIFE TO DIG IT OUT OF THE SINK I DO NOT LIKE THIS PRODUCT AT ALL BUT IM SURE ILL FIND ONE I LIKE AT WALMART

It fit erll, looked nice but it or down, it won't drain. Great if all you need is a stopper. Not so much if you want to actually have water pass through and strain.

Oh no....it consistently gets caught on the drain!! Then......after I freed it forthe3rd time in 15 minutes....I freed it and......I threw it out. I also bought the mesh one.... much, much better!
