I actually really find this sink strainer useful. It catches food scraps really well, and I like that it doubles as a stopper when I need to soak dishes. The mesh is fine enough to catch the small stuff, and it's easy to clean. The only slight downside is that sometimes if the water pressure is strong, it can push the stopper down and slow the draining. But overall, it does its job and I'd definitely buy it again

It didn't fit my old sink. First time use.It's stopped real good and I had to get a knife and pull the rubber out which was left in after everything else was pulled out. It was cheap and you pay for what you get. Still useful if you want to pull all three parts up separately and have to use a knife.The rubber part.

Temu quality at a walmart price, the center section is chrome plated plastic, new out of the package first use, with the full sink with dirty water the rubber stopper came off in the sink . the detached stopper almost went down the drain hole, but we were able to fish it out. designed by plumbers to cause plumbing issues. ok so if you look at the plastic plunger it has side flutes that make it so it pull out the rubber stopper and only spins from one angle. IF I was washing my cast iron skillet or any heavy pan the plastic would have snapped and gone down the drain even if the rubber stopper did not clog it first. this has multiple ways that it can go badly for you. and I know price is never a indication of quality but boomers think it is, but this was $5 not the less expensive ones,

This drain is worthless!! Do not buy it!!! I would rate it a -10if that was possible! The screen separated from metal frame and there was only water in the sink. Plus it didn't sit in drain well, didn't prevent water from draining!! I am returning it ASAP for refund! It will be a major inconvenience to return it but I will!!

Poor quality. the rim of the stopper wasn't true, meaning it was not perfectly round to fit in sink properly, there was always a gap. And the crimp on the rim to hold the mesh screen was not well done, as the screen edge started coming out as you pushed the stopper down to plug the sink, now you have sharp wire ends that poke and cut you because you can't get them back in to the rim. DON'T BUY THEM!!!!

I wanted so badly for them to work, and they did for a few minutes. When I went to drain the sink they stuck. When I pulled up, the whole apparatus came apart and the rubber plunger was stuck tight. I had to get it out with a screwdriver. I then thought it was just that one…all 3 I bought did the same. Huge waste of money.
