The drain stop is supposed to stop water or not depending on how the pull is turned/positioned, yet it only acts as a plunger from either position the pull is positioned at. I have a standard sink an expected this better quality one to work either way, but as some cheaper ones, it does not. Would not recommend for a drain, but as a stopper, it works fine. Wound up taking the plunger part off my former (also quite new) one and keeping both... my former just acts as a drain and when I need a stopper, I use the new one old one... I like that as I dont have to clean the rubber plunger all the time, except when I use that one.

i can't get it to work and it fits but pops right back iut. idk it might be the user. ugh im just frustrated because mine are gone. i just want to wash dishes in a sink full of water and soap. grrr sorry this just not getting it with me. hopefully i can exchange it for a better option. ty
