(2 pack) Ocean's Halo Organic White Sticky Sushi Rice, 2 lb.

This was my first time buying oceans halo organic sticky rice. I have previously purchased other products from them and had good experience. My little guy wanted to try making sticky rice balls because he has been watching a lot of anime lately. So I bought this sticky rice and cooked it as directed. The rice turned out perfect. We made a basic filling with tuna, soy sauce, and Japanese mayo. Before eating, we wrapped in oceans halo Nori sheets. I was very surprised to find out that this rice comes sealed airtight. That itself makes me like the company more and I will definitely be buying more rice and other products from them.

My toddler loves rice. I thought this would be easier because I wouldn't have little grains of rice all over my dining room floor. It came expertly packaged in an airtight brick. Its aroma is fragrant and almost floral. It's very small and pearly and cooks up surprisingly fast and easy. It definitely is sticky rice and tasted just like a sushi restaurant. I'll be buying this again when I run out. It was also very clean and needed only one or two rinses with water to wash off the starchy part.

Wonderful "sticky" restaurant-style (short-grain) rice that can also be used for sushi, rice pudding, or porridge. Very high-quality product - even the packaging is high-end. Highly recommend.

I have nothing bad to say about the rice! It's great. I have repurchased many times. I don't personally recommend the suggested amount of sugar, but that's just my preference.

I'm on my third package. It cooks great in the rice cooker or on the stove top. The texture is wonderful. I have used this to make a risotto dish with outstanding results.

This rice is amazing the texture the aroma the taste, but unfortunately it has to be shipped. I re oreded it because it's so good, but last order didn't arrive.

this rice is heavenly. i use to buy another sticky from walmart and they stopped selling it. i look for this one to be gone too. just my luck with everything i love.

I love this rice. I either buy this or Jasmine rice but I really like this rice a lot. It taste good and it's just sticky enough.

I really hate to give this product a three star review because it's good quality rice regardless. The problem is that it's false advertisement. There is definitely a difference between sticky and regular rice, but it appears that this company is cashing in on the Asian rice craze by labeling its product as sticky to consumers who don't know any better. A shame, because if it weren't for the false labeling, it would be a five start product.

This product is not sticky rice. It's called 晚稻米 which gets planted and harvested later during the regular rice growing season. It's slightly more tasty than regular rice.
