Every time I plan on walking through tall grass I spray this on my shoes and pant legs. I had a really bad experience a few years ago with chiggers. I just walked a couple of feet into waste high grass, in and out, with no DEET, the chiggers were on me everywhere. They on the bottom of my feet all the way up to my face and lips. I had to take antihistamine for 2 days to get through it. It also repels mosquitoes and ticks which is very important
Deep in the wilderness, where mosquitoes reign like tyrants and ticks skulk in the shadows, I armed myself with a single can of Repel Sportsmen Max Formula—a steel cylinder of righteous vengeance, packing 40% DEET and the fury of a thousand unbitten ancestors. One press of the nozzle and I was cloaked in an invisible armor, a scentless, sweat-proof barrier of bug-banishing power. They came—buzzing, biting, bloodthirsty. They saw—me glowing like a war god beneath the sun. They fled. This isn’t insect repellent—it’s pest exile in aerosol form, forged for the fearless and built to endure forests, swamps, trails, and twilight. If you demand peace in mosquito territory, forget citronella candles and wishful thinking. Grab Repel, spray liberally, and become the legend the bugs fear in their darkest dreams.
While we haven’t started using the latest purchase of bug spray, I’m happy to say we’ve had good experiences of using it in the past. With a high concentration of Deet, it’s still fairly gentle on the skin. We’ve also learned to apply it in heavy amounts on clothes. It keeps the enemies @ bay really well. I highly recommend if you want to keep the bugs from chewing you up and spitting you out!!!
Works every time. Ya,, it has Deet in it,, 40%. But when you got Midges, sand flys or no-seeums,, by any other name,, to me they are much worse than regular mosquitos. They really burn. I won't even bother with any other stuff cause it really does work every time.
Texarkana I have every kind of bug you can think of in my yard. But Repel Sportsman Max keeps them from biting me . I have nosee ems (they can really bite), With my Repel, they don't get a chance. This is a GREAT product! I'm so glad I found it.
Our normal go to is usually OFF Deep Woods Spray. But I seen their price increase for less and was like ok. But I did see this Repel Spray and it got me to reading. Well it has more Deet, Big Can and good reviews. So I took and chance and I’m pleasantly surprised by the product. For what I got for 4 cans I could only get with 3 of the OFF. So heck yeah I’ll take more Deet, more amount per can and one more whole can to boot. So would I buy it again, yes most definitely!
My husband has yet to go a year without being bitten by a tick when fishing and heading to the doctor’s office antibiotics. Since we started using this product in the fall of 2024, and now for this spring to fall season in our new seasonal place in the Catskills, he has yet to be bitten by a tick. It has more deet than the other sportsman sprays. Great product, thank you
I live in the mountains covered in dirt and I'm usually barefooted and in shorts and for months when I'm around moist dirt like by my water heater my legs are bitten every single time by hundreds of little bites. I'm told those are called jiggers. I sprayed the ground with this and I haven't been bitten in days. I absolutely love it
Does the trick!keeps pesky insects away .Has a smell that is not so welcoming but fades away seconds after dispersing desired amount onto skin and clothing.
Purchased for the price and quantity. Disappointed that both cans do not spray correctly or at all. I managed to get one can to somewhat work correctly (I've gotten some use) and the product itself is great. However, I have a whole can that I am unable to use. For the price I guess I can't complain but for someone that is disabled and living on a fixed income every penny counts. Not to mention that when you purchase something it's not unreasonable to expect it to work correctly.
