Made by Warren distribution and is easily the best value in automotive oils today. **** oil analysis always return high marks as well as used oil samples after running 5k miles.

Great Oil

Michael January 12, 2025

Have been using this oil in several cars for years, no issues at all. And with the price it's a no brainer. Even with inflation this oil is still the best value, yeah it went up a few dollars over the last years but what hasn't? I change my oils about every 7000 to 8000 miles or so and it can definitely last a little longer if needed.

Can beat it for the money.

Burnem760 April 5, 2026

I'm a mechanic. 30 years. Oils have improved so much, even the cheaper stuff is better than the good stuff years ago. Modern engines demand better oil because of turbocharged smaller engines, and leaner burn, dfi etc. I only use synthetic as it's the same price as Dino oils. Never had a an oil related failure using super tech oils. More protection than most folks need. Make sure to get the right weight or a little heavier if your vehicle is burning oil. Keep the level up and use the correct amount at changes. Too much is as bad as not enough. Keep this oil set at the proper level and you won't have any oil problems. Don't buy Chrysler v6 engine vehicles, they burn up valve train parts. Pro tip. Same as always. Get Honda or Toyota and take good care of it.

Moble one for an extra $15 or save an buy supertec

frog February 14, 2026

Warner Lab make a number of name brand oil, I use to by the mobile 1 oil, after compairing, very comprable to super tec, i know most of you probally don't believe it. However I been a BMW mechanic for 35 years, so bottom line is spend an extra $15 for 5 quarts of name brand oil or treat yourself a decent lunch.

Best bang for your buck

ERIC August 11, 2025

This oil has been used in my cars for over 10 years from high end Lexus SUV all the way to my lawnmower. Never had any issues or concerns with using it. I change oil every 5k miles as it's my preference and even use the supertech branded filters no issues at all.

Best value for the money

Edwin January 31, 2026

This is the "best value for the money" in engine oils that I have found. I sent a used 4,000 mile oil sample to a lab for analysis and the results showed excellent properties for the oil. The lab even said that I could try 6,000 miles before the next oil change, but I will stick to my 3,000 to 4,000 mile oil change interval to maximize the engine life of my vehicles.

Works for lawn mowers

mommabear123456 September 30, 2025

I use this in my lawn mower every year. Have never used it in my vehicles. For a lawn mower it works just fine. No problems with it. Lawn mower sits all winter and the oil drains out just fine in the spring.

Is this really "full synthetic"?

MARTIN May 4, 2025

People who define the terms differently generally maintain that Group III base oils aren't truly “synthetic.” Instead, they say, they're highly processed conventional base oils due to the manufacturing process used to make them. Group IV base oils, however, are manufactured via organic synthesis, making them “synthetic” in every sense of the word. So, what does the industry say about Group III base oils? Are they synthetic or not? The answer derives from a famous lawsuit between Mobil* and Castrol* from the late 1990s. Castrol began using Group III base oils to formulate an oil it marketed as “synthetic”. Mobil argued the oil wasn't really synthetic since it used Group III base oils. The court disagreed and ruled that Group III base oils can be considered “synthetic” because they are chemically changed (i.e. synthesized). Castrol won the lawsuit and, since then, the industry has defined Group III base oils as, indeed, synthetic. That means, according to accepted industry definitions and practices, an oil is “synthetic” and may be labeled as such provided it uses only Group III, Group IV or Group V base oils in any combination or ratio. The oil could use 90% Group IV and 10% Group III base oil; or, it could use 90% Group III and 10% Group IV base oils. As long as it only uses Groups III, IV or V base oils, it's a synthetic oil. That being the case, the terms “100% synthetic” and “full synthetic” describe the same thing. They're synonymous, and an oil marketer can use whichever it prefers provided the oil in the bottle meets the industry description of “synthetic” outlined above.

Love %26 trust the super tech products. Perfect for anybody who would rather change their own oil, than taking the time of travel %26 waiting to get it done! Been using ST oil for years %26 trust it better than some national brands.
