We use this in our chicken coop with our 4 chickens. It works great! They like not lay eggs and nest in it and it is easy to clean out when the time comes. We've been using it since our chickens were born and it has been great. We've bought it multiple times and the quality has been on par every time. I recommend for chickens or other birds or animals.

I needed something for my chicks that wasn't dusty or had large pieces that were rough feeling and would stick me when I started moving some to their beds. I was at Walmart for something else and came across this. I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. No dust, very soft and lasts when they do their little scratch dancing. Bought a 4 pack this time around. Give it a try I don't think you'll be sorry you did.

I was impressed with the overall amount of product you receive for the price point. The shavings are rather firm (not soft until spent) and very absorbent. To put it into perspective, when using this product, I only have to change it out once a week, and I use it for my quail, which poop quite a bit, so I consider this to be an impressive feat. I don't even change it once a week due to smell - it handles smells with ease, it is because of the sheer volume of poop my quail produce, and for no other reason. As far as dust is concerned, you really do not encounter any until you get to the very bottom of the bag, which is to be expected. So far, this product is working out great, and I will be a repeat buyer. Note, my review photo only shows a little bit of the product in the center because I was introducing them to the material for the first time, and they enjoy it fully (they love to sploot in it and kick it around).

I have 4 ducks and 1 chicken who use this product in their house. This is the second time I purchased this brand and I am very happy with it. It keeps their area dry and helps keep them warm at night. Good price for the size and I will continue to buy this one because it is great!!!

I have bought vibrant pine shavings from the store before I have been using them in my chicken pen. They are very pleasant to use. I can cut open the bag and spread it on my hands and knees where I want it. It keeps the chicken pin from getting smelly and absorbs moisture. It is the most convenient way for me to take care of my chickens I highly recommend it.

I've always kind of stayed away from Pine bedding, I heard it's bad for rabbits and guinea pigs and hamsters and all that, so I never really used it mainly because of the dustiness they say can affect their breathing and so on. This brand actually seems less Dusty than I've seen other brands, it definitely smells good and definitely helps in the winter with any type of smell, the chicken cup always has a good Pine smell. I use it in an open Chicken Coop and run, so there's always air flowing. It seems to also help with moisture, I wish it was a little bit better cuz it can kind of get clumpy, so it's not perfect but it's not the worst. Overall I do recommend it

great value, but bedding per bag is not the same size or consistency all the time. can be medium or small, which my chickens will eat. last bag was near powder, may have been the dregs since that's unusual. still good option for budget, clean material, animals like

very thin I bought for my coop to use in a pinch because my regular feed store was closed. barley had enough to cover maybe half om coop. same size as my other rand I by but smaller shavings. the only thing I can recommend this for is putting around plants

I purchased a two-pack. I urgently needed chick bedding and when this arrived ( shipped) one bag was wet all the way through and black moldy . I couldn't return the one bad bag without returning the one good bag and I NEEDED bedding. I had to open and use the good bag making the return of the product to the store infeasible. I've never in my life received such a damaged, unviable product. I opened the bad bag to see if any might be usable and it was sodden all the way through. Because it was wet it literally weighed 50-60 lbs while the good bag was maybe 15 lbs.

Within 2 weeks of using this pine product, my guinea pig got severe mite. While I cannot proof it was from this pine wood, I've used aspen for many years and never had a problem. The store was out (of aspen), so i tried this pine wood. And within 2 weeks my guinea pig is in pain because of suspected mite. It can be a coincidence of course, but I haven't changed anything else in those past 2 weeks, so it likely was this pine wood product. I would not recommend this pine wood product if you have sensitive animals like Guinea pigs.
