This has been a game changer for me. I'm overweight and have an apron belly from pregnancy. If I don't keep the fold extra clean and 100% dry, it starts to itch and smell from yeast. GROSS and embarrassing!! Regular baby powder dries the area, but does nothing to kill the yeast. Antifungal creams kill the yeast but keep the moisture in and give it a slimy feeling. This is the ONLY stuff that kills the yeast, stops the itch, and keeps me smelling fresh. It's a life saver for me year-round but especially in the humid summer months. The smell is a tad "mediciney" and nauseating but better than that cheesy, yeasty smell! GAG! I hope they never stop making this!
It gets 5 stars because it works! I've been on steroids for more than a year for a health condition and my feet have been extra sweaty. This powder really helps keep my feet dry and healthy. I'm not a huge fan of the fragrance, but it could be worse. The only thing is- the first time I tipped the bottle to dispense powder onto my foot, I didn't think about how much would come out (the holes in the lid are large) and I poured a small mountain of powder onto my foot! Tip carefully and just tap a little out, so you don't use a quarter of the container in one go.
This is great powder. Years ago a doctor advised my mother to use this for a heat rash and it works quickly and retrieves itching and pain. I now use it and it works wonders. The ivy thing is the price has gone up significantly. I buy it but have to use it more sparingly now. It is a great product.
Recommended by my dermatologisy for skin rash that develop in ski. folds, yhis works great in "erasing" the rash. Used religiously after my daily shower, no more rash. Love the silky feel, ease of application ans scent (very mild and pleasant). Only detriment is a bit pricey. Dermatologist recommended and patient approved!
IT STATES, ESPECIALLY FOR ATHLETES FOOT. MY BRIDE NOR MY SELF SUFFER FROM THAT. BUT ITS VERY GOOD BODY WISE, ESPECIALLY WHERE A WOUND AS IT WORKS SIMILARLY TO ATHLETES EET AS IT HAS A WONDERFUL DRYING AGENT THAT WORKS WONDERS ON PLACES THT TEND TO HOUSE MOISTURE GIVING THE WOUND AMPLE TIME TO DRY AND HEAL! CONSISTENCY IS THE NA OF THE NAME OF THE GAME! THE ONLY DOWN SIDE, FOR ME AT LEAST, WHEN YOU OPEN THE BOTTLE BRACE YOURSELF, AS ITS HALF FULL! NEVERTHELESS, ITS NEW TO US, BUT I KEEP A DOZEN BOTTLES ON RESERVE. HOPE THIS HELPS SOME. RESPECTFULLY, ED
I have a medical condition that causes one part of my body to overlap, and I was raw in the fold. My doctor suggested Zeasorb. And I have used it ever since. It has saved me for years. I would not be without it. I always have at least two bottles in the house. I now use it for the medical condition. I use it in my shoes just to prevent any problems. It may occur because let's face it. We can wash our sneakers, but we're not washing our fine leather shoes. And if you wear stockings or socks or if you go barefoot, it's the same thing eventually stuff builds up and germs develop . Zeasorb is preventing any problems with that for at least 10 years now.
Best topically because it's a powder. It's already dry unlike other products that are ointments, or deodorants. This can be used anywhere you sweat, or sweat excessively, like under breasts, or anywhere else. I'm not a doc, so check with your doc before using anything. And make sure you don't use products on your basement!! You must check panel for usage.
as others have opined, the powder really comes out--and the bottle is only half full wish there were a more efficient way to use it as it isn't cheap trusting the medicinal aspect will work don't see the real difference in this and their other anti-fungal powder
The scent of this powder is not good. It is a very old fashioned perfumey smell, like a 1950's grandmother scent. The powder is not silky, it is grainy feeling. As others have noted, the holes in the dispenser top are too large and allow way too much powder to come out at once. It's hard to control the application. Some reviewers say that the bottle came half full. This is just due to the settling of the product. You are not getting cheated. You are getting the full amount that you paid for. I will not buy this again just because of the undesirable scent.
First of all half of the bottle is empty. I'm not sure if I got a defective one, but when I unscrewed the lid and took off the safety seal I noticed that the bottle is only halfway filled. Also, the dispenser is terrible. You tip it over to gently apply some powder and a huge amount dumps out. You really need to change the applicator to a squeeze bottle like other powders. This one you just open the lid and it pours out. You don't have the ability to partly unscrew the top to squeeze out a smaller amount. Considering only half the bottle is filled I shouldn't have to worry about dumping the other half during each application. If you're only going to fill half the bottle with product, why don't you make a smaller bottle? This is extremely wasteful and harmful to the environment by producing so much extra plastic.
