Good quality drain pain. Made of thick plastic. Not cheaply made. Perfect size. Had one just like it and a UPS driver backed over it and had to get another one. Really love this and cant find anything like it anywhere else.
Extra capacity makes this drain pan easier to use . Holds more without spilling and easy to transfer into jugs
it work perfect for what i needed it for
Large capacity, sturdy construction and functional design. Easy pour drain spout and large open area to eliminate messy spills. I also have the lid/cap design collector but find this design cuts down on overshots of fluids draining and is helpful in placement/collection of parts while working.
This drain pan is much sturdier than I thought it would be. Very wide, with a 20qt capacity, yet it has a very low profile. The last drain pan I had was also very wide, but it tried to bend and almost fold in half when I picked it up full. That was the immediate test that I gave my new FloTool drain pan. I filled it completely with water, and picked it up. The pan passed my test. In addition, pouring it from the spout was very controlable without a mess.
Very sturdy construction, so it doesn't bend/warp when loaded with oil. Compared to the old metal pans I used in my youth, the pour spout is a massive improvement, and this is much easier to clean after use. Note that because of the size and capacity, this is a tall pan so you'll need to get the vehicle up a few inches higher on your jack stands.
Pouring the used 5 quarts of oil was easy. I grabbed the sides of the pan with no flexing or cracking of the plastic. My only complaint was the seller shipped the pan without a box. By some miracle it arrived intact from PA to CA on my porch. The photos on Walmart don't show the spout. I included a picture with my review looking down on the pan. The oil jug on the side is a 5 quart jug for size comparison.
I like how big it is. It holds 5 gallons. Its plenty sturdy and has a great pour spout. It has a nice handle on the opposite side of the pour spout too.
Simple design that works without the splash and large enough for my 8qt oil change. Forget those shallow fancy pans with top screws. Good luck not making a mess om the floor with those.
This was huge and definitely would fit any car. I use this for a 6-quart vehicle so definitely won't spill and love That there is a spot to pour out the oil from
