29" Thruster 79 Adult Special Bicycle, Blue

I bought this Thruster 29 inch at a discount. It seemed like a great deal compared to the Fast Ripper. I realize this is a cheaper bike but at about the quarter the price it's tough to beat. the pedals are real cheap the handlebars are small and the seat is uncomfortable so I changed all three for under $75 on aftermarket, still a bargain. Was delivered fast and safe

the description of the tires was misleading and incorrect on what tires came with it it said that they were the havoc 3.0 so kind of made it sound like they were 3-in tires when they're more of a standard mountain bike tire which is cool just was not accurate

This bike is comparable to a SE Big Ripper for a 1/4 of the price. The first bike was damaged in shipping however the second was not. The 1st bike was a different design than pictured. It had an opening at the neck of the frame. The second had the fully welded enclosed neck. It has the PK Ripper loop tail and with some modifications it's a great buy.

I'm new to the “big bike “ scene and this was a wonderful intro bike . I'm a big guy and it fits me nicely. The gears shift nice and smooth and the breaks are ok ( the weak point) . Shipping was fast. Box was beat up but no damage to the bike . Wish I had gotten it for its roll back price. And I wish I had gotten the newer model. But. Once again it's a starter bike and I love it !!!

Great 29 inch bmx style bike with gears. Awesome for the 50 crowd that wants a little 80's nostalgia in their ride.

Ugh, it was shipped to me with a defective part! I didn't even get to test ride it! Luckily I was able to return it at the closest Walmart. At least their customer support was helpful. I liked the blue color but it wasn't pre assembled when shipped. You need a variety of tools to put it together like a socket wrench and flat head screwdriver.

The handlebars are so weak, and the bike in the picture is a different version of what they gave me. That buke gir a different frame and handlebars. I got SE handlebars coming.

Bike came on time, good quality. Not to please with scratches on rims and frame and a slashed tire that allowed the tube to pop out. Had to order new tires for a brand new bike. Other that that I'm happy with the purchase.

very cheaply built, spokes are very thin, tires are only 50 psi max- recived with bent spoke from shipping and box reads was manufactured 4 years ago. Not a deal.
