Kryptonite 8mm Chain Key Chain Bicycle Lock

Loving my scooter so far. Put about 100 plus miles on it and still running strong! The tools they sent weren't the correct sizes but l luckily I did have my own tools no big deal. Assembly was easy. Wish braking was a little better but I give it a 8/10 on braking. I ride it every weekday for work and it's been a beast every trip. Especially the long battery life even on 3rd gear the whole 6-7 miles I go Overall I give it a 9 out of 10

This bicycle chain lock is definitely going to keep your bike safe and secure. They have to come with the jaws of life to cut it off your bike :o)) It's a very heavy chain that's covered in a strong looking material that makes it look really nice. I chose the one with the key lock just because I don't really like fumbling with the combination type locks. Good price, quality chain lock, what more can I ask for.

This is a level 4 security bike lock. It feels very heavy duty. It is a chain link lock with a cool kryptonite labeled cover. It locks and unlocks by key and it comes with 2 keys. I really like the design and durability of this chain lock. Can be used for multiple other things other than a bike and I feel secure using it.

This bike lock is really sturdy. It is made of 8mm thick chain links wrapped in a stiff and coarse fabric. The lock itself is pretty well made also, and the key is small enough to fit in a small space (like old school rolled down and flipped up sock, or tiny almost non existent women's jeans pocket). There's a lead and chemical exposure warning on the back of the label which instructs users to wash hands after handling the bike lock. It's not hard to remember to wash hands when coming in from outside, it's my habit anyway, but just a heads up courtesy of California to the hosts of the unborn. Very sturdy.

We were using a cheap lock that we had for our kids bikes that barely fit and was so simple it would be easy to steal and my wife like to go to the park and ----. This thing has some meat and is not light plus add that it has a whole different lock assembly than the old cheapo I feel much more comfortable locking the bike for longer times. I checked it out and I can tell you if anyone wanted to cut it the material just clogs the teeth on a saw or rotary cutter and I wish I had not experimented but felt I should. You will feel much more comfortable with this beast wrapped around your bike and would make a cool necklace for the punk scene!!

This high-security, flexible bicycle lock is fantastic for protecting your bike when on the go, yet easy to store and maneuver. The only downside that isn’t really a down side is that the lock is incredibly heavy. But this isn’t an issue if a person can handle it. I will get more in the future for each bike in the bicycle.

I must say, I was extremely surprised when I received this in the mail. It is extremely heavy duty and very well built. I am very impressed by the sheer weight and strength of this lock. It is very nice to have the protection around it as wheels to avoid any scratching. This arrived in the mail well packaged and free of any damage. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

The Kryptonite lock is made with a very heavy chain and looks really strong. The lock isn't a great mechanism and looks like it could be picked very easily. The connection of the chain to the lock housing is simplistic just a small angled piece of metal is all that keeps it locked and will come disconnected if the lock is partially turned. The key is hard to turn and takes some effort to lock and unlock the chain. I would expect a better locking mechanism with a level 4 security rating.

One of the main issues is that it says it's 3 ft and that chain is definitely not 3 ft 2 ft at the most. Another concern is it's very heavy but the chain is not as thick as they advertised it seems a lot of weight is coming from the locking mechanism itself. Another issue is it's supposed to be scratch resistant on your bicycle but it's scratched my bicycle very bad because the cover that's on the chain is really thin and because of that it's stuffed up my bicycle. personally I wouldn't recommend it and since I haven't had it that long I am thinking about returning it to get a refund because contacting any one that sells on here you will not get a response back.
