Kryptonite 8mm Chain Key Chain Bicycle Lock

Loving my scooter so far. Put about 100 plus miles on it and still running strong! The tools they sent weren't the correct sizes but l luckily I did have my own tools no big deal. Assembly was easy. Wish braking was a little better but I give it a 8/10 on braking. I ride it every weekday for work and it's been a beast every trip. Especially the long battery life even on 3rd gear the whole 6-7 miles I go Overall I give it a 9 out of 10

Most definitely, I recommend this Bicycle lock. When I read the word "Kryptonite" the first thing that came to my mind was "Superman" lol. don't let the name fool you. It stands to its name. It is strong, durable and I think it sends an automatic warning to its viewers.

I cannot believe how heavy this chain lock is. It has to weight more than my bike. I don't think there is anyway someone could steel or should want to steel a bike with this chain lock on it. They give it a level 4 protection it is more like a level 5. I give it 5 stars it's perfect for the nylon cover to the 3 foot flex chain it's wrapped around.

This is one serious chain. I am truly impressed. I would really like to see a thief try to get this KRYPTONITE chain off my bike. It is the strongest looking bicycle lock I’ve ever seen, by far. It weighs a ton, and looks like it should last longer than my bike. A great feature since I live near the beach and everything rusts. My only complaint is, it’s not long enough to lock 2 bikes, only 1. Which could be a plus for someone else. Overall I would highly recommend this.

It is much better than I ever expected. So strong and well made. The chain comes with two keys and is very easy to open with the keys. It is a little on the heavy side and no way can be cut up so it keeps your bikes very safe. I could also use to keep some outdoor stuff safe if I tie it to them. Best bicycle lock ever.

This bicycle chain lock is definitely going to keep your bike safe and secure. They have to come with the jaws of life to cut it off your bike :o)) It's a very heavy chain that's covered in a strong looking material that makes it look really nice. I chose the one with the key lock just because I don't really like fumbling with the combination type locks. Good price, quality chain lock, what more can I ask for.

The Kryptonite 8mm chain 2 key bicycle chain lock is named correctly. Quality made materials ensure that no thief is going to get away with your valuable bike. Measuring 3 feet in length and 8mm diameter makes for one tough and strong chain to protect your property. Heavy duty and enclosed in an attractive sheath that makes it a great added feature to your ride. Anyone that has a bike will surely appreciate the styling and security that comes with this lock. Comes with two keys for added convenience. I am very happy with my selection.

The Kryptonite 8mm chain bicycle lock is a really heavy duty bike chain. It is 3 lbs 9 1/2 oz and 36" long. You can easily lock up four bikes if needed. It comes with two keys and if you register your keys the company will promptly replace your keys if you happen to loose them. This bike chain is heavy and if you're into keeping your load light on your bike, you may want to find something lighter. On the good note, not sure anyone would be able to steal your bike without super good bolt cutters. I'd recommend this chain for someone looking into keeping their bike safely locked up, but be sure to wrap the chain around the body of the bike and not a wheel. I've seen people do this and wheels are super easy to remove from the bike.

This KRYPTONITE KEY CHAIN BICYCLE LOCK should definitely keep the bicycle EXACTLY where I leave it till I return! It's an 8mm chain, roughly about 3ft in length, and enclosed in a fabric casing. It's rated at LEVEL 4 in terms of security and (just this gal's opinion) it feels substantial enough to moor an ocean-going vessel, so I shan't be concerned about my bike leaving without me. This version comes with two keys, which I IMMEDIATELY registered (online - but there's also a form to do the registration by mail, if preferred): in case I lose one, they'll replace the key .. a nice bit of assurance! Incidentally, the chain has a 'LIFETIME GUARANTEE' .. so that's a good thing too. Not much to not love about this key chain other than the weight which will make it a bit of a chore to manage when en route, (for that I deducted 1 star), but even so, I would not hesitate to recommend this chain to any bike rider who wants the assurance their bike will stay EXACTLY where they park it!

The Kryptonite lock is made with a very heavy chain and looks really strong. The lock isn't a great mechanism and looks like it could be picked very easily. The connection of the chain to the lock housing is simplistic just a small angled piece of metal is all that keeps it locked and will come disconnected if the lock is partially turned. The key is hard to turn and takes some effort to lock and unlock the chain. I would expect a better locking mechanism with a level 4 security rating.
