We use this flexible cable lock as secure our bikes. It's made of braided flexible steel cable, so it's strong and cut resistant. It's heavy duty, but still easy to wrap around the bikes. The protective coating makes it scratch resistant, so the paint on our bikes isn't harmed. The cable came with 2 keys, they are super easy to use, popping the lock right open! Good cable lock!

I found this product to be very interesting. Yes , I know they exist but I've never needed to use one. That is until now , I used this product to secure my teens mountain bike to our property. It's very Sturdy & it gives me a lil sense of peace . It comes with 2# keys & it's a decent length . The colors is nice and it's very flexible. This product has been holding up well so far. Every teen with a bike , Should own 1 of these. We all know this brands name. Brinks products have always been strong & keeps our items protected.

With the start of Hurricane Season, I decided to pick-up the Brink's 3/8 x 6 Kevlar Covered Flexible Cable to secure our portable generator in case of a power outage. The cable is designed with a braided flexible steel cable to provide maximum strength and cut resistance. The Kevlar protective wrapping will prevent the cable from scratching off the paint from the generator and house. The built in keyed lock will add an additional layer of security versus a pad lock that could be easily cut off. The Brinks flexible cable looks like it is well made and looks like it should be able to last for a few years. The actual functional use of the locking system is straight forward and it easily opens/closes with no issues. The cable measures 6-feet long and is 3/8' in diameter.

I like it works well 6 ft length ideal for locking both Wheels on the bike to a pole or something

good for short shopping trips. great for city use...long enough for light poles, trees, stair railings, and other sidewalk fixtures. doesn't come with mount, but coils nicely under seat frame.

This Brinks lock is a worthwhile investment to protect your expensive wheels when you leave it parked somewhere for a break. It's six foot length is ideal to quickly snake around a large post, fence, or some other immovable object. The vinyl coating is thick and will not scratch/damage your fragile paint job or components. The thick steel cable with a Kevlar coat is rated to resist 2500 pounds of cutting pressure. Even a gorilla with bolt cutters will not be able to cut through this. The lock portion integrates nicely with the cable, but you must have the key inserted to lock it in place, so that is why I was minus one star. To unlock is easy, just turn the key and pull the end out. To lock in. have the key inserted in the lock but you don't have to turn it to push the other end in and it snaps into place. The cable coils up neatly so you can store this in a small bag or wrapped around your frame or seat post. You can use this lock for other things besides bicycles too, just use your imagination. Just remember to keep the key in place when you go to snap lock it.

I thought this would be an unbreakable lock. My son locked up his very expensive electric bike, which was stolen because the bike lock was able to cut. I do not recommend anyone to buy this.
