Brinks Laminated Steel 60mm Keyed Padlock with 2in Shackle

I've bought this before in the past. This Lock is Great ! Super Strong and Secure ! Has a large thick circumference shackle. The only thing is over time the blue plastic part on the bottom of it might crack and come off. Just cosmetic though. Overall Great Lock !

The first thing you need to know about this Brinks padlock is that it's BIG. It is in fact too big to fit on many hasps; the boron steel shackle is too large in diameter to fit through the hole in many common lock hasps. So, you may want to consider buying a new hasp to go along with this lock. I'm going to buy a new one so that I can use this lock on my garden shed. I store two mowers in there along with tools, so I need a high security lock. This lock would appear to be pretty much impenetrable; the thick strong shackle and heavy duty laminated body should be impossible to breach. So if you need a really heavy, strong, big lock, I don't think you could do any better than this one from Brinks.

I am reviewing the Brinks 60 MM lock for sheds and outside buildings. It is excellently made as is all of Brinks security locks. I took my existing lock off and put this one on. It's thick. 12,900 pounds cut resistant. There are 4 pins to make it pick resistant. There is 2,500 pounds pry resistant. This is one sturdy lock. Shackle made of Boron Steel. There are 2 keys included. It comes with a full life warranty. Promax Security. As good as it gets. I like this lock and feel that the contents inside the shed are safe. I recommend!

This padlock is great for my storage shed. I just put away my Christmas decorations and some more holiday stuff and it was great to finally have a padlock on it. I like how it comes with a key instead of a code. That really saves me a trip down memory lane.. Lol. The padlock is very heavy duty which is great. It will definitely take a longtime for a robber to break into my shed. It feels good to know my shed is secured.

The Brink's 60mm Laminated Steel Padlock, Boron Shackle is a beast! This padlock was thicker and heavier than I thought it would be and I'm glad about that because it just makes it that much harder for thieves to remove. I've been keeping this padlock on my shed that is housing my new RV. I really like that I'm able to remove this padlock and take it anywhere I need to go. I've actually installed a locking mechanism that is able to go on my RV door so that I can lock it up with this padlock for extra security. The fact that this padlock has a four brass pin tumbler is awesome because it makes it resistance to people that are going to try to pick the lock. I like that there is a blue plastic bumper on the lock so I don't have to worry about this huge lock scraping my new RV door. I really like that this padlock came with two keys so I can have one on my key ring and keep the other one somewhere safe as my emergency backup! This padlock is cut resistant to 12,900 pounds and pry resistant to 2,500 pounds. I feel like no one is getting through this lock!

The description of the lock could have been better. I didn't know that it was going to be as stout and the shackle as thick. An illustration would have been nice.I bought this lock for a work locker, but I had to buy a different one because this was too big.
