This particular version of diphenhydramine is dye free, so it doesn't trigger the allergic hives I have to red dye leading to a breakout of very itchy hives, scratching, and possibly triggering skin infection! After all, it's supposed to be an antihistamine. This should be the norm for all the equate diphenhydramine!! In it fact, it should be the standard for all medicine brands! But you have control over the dyes put into your brand!! The dye is counterproductive to the purpose of the medicine! I am G-tube fed, and a capsule consisting of clear vegetable glycerin would make it easier for me to take this medicine, since all I take that should be taken by mouth must be taken through my G-tube! I have severe allergic contact allergies in addition to seasonal respiratory allergies. This helps and can be taken along with most OTC and prescription allergy meds (check with pharmacist) Many years ago, my Dr pointed out that the single active ingredient in Benadryl, Diphenhydramine HCI, is the exact same medicine in Unisom %26 some other OTC sleeping pills. Obviously, it causes DROWSINESS. Take it in the evening to see how drowsy it makes you. My husband never takes it during the day, opting for non drowsy Zyrtec, or if he needs it at a late bedtime if he needs to get up early. It makes it hard for him to wake up %26 daytime use causes him to take a nap. Aww! My experience is different, I only feel very mild drowsiness. Of course, severe allergies make your body tired, and this is a better option for me. I've had the same level of quality %26 pricing on the other forms of Equate benadryl, such as the ones with dye and the children's liquid.

I get this because my dog is allergic to the dye on the normal ones. While the dye-free is more expensive, the Equate ones are a great price! Plus my dog doesn't have the reacrion to these.

I love the fact that these have no dye. They don't have the nasty bitter aftertaste either. They work just as good as the big name brands , but are so much less expensive. Who doesn't love a good bargain❣️

My oldest always said the taste of Benadryl or generic was gross. Why COLORING is added to something like this is beyond meme! After germy dye free, no more complaints! All allergy meds should be dye free!

These are a great value! i love equate brand. i prefer the %23200 tablet value ; dye free, i use to get at cvs but im happy with the%23 100 count %26 the No dye which is important for me. 👌

This allergy relief tablet does help relieve my symptoms of allergies, but it does also make me feel more relaxed and get sleepy earlier in the evening.

Will not order it because it affects my brain health. My daughter is a nurse %26 told me it has been shown to cause dementia in the elderly. I'm 78.

if this is something that you purchased for a pet. as I do and have multiple times. this is not the same as ones I purchased four times before. which it tells me in the Walmart app. the exact same price. exact same guy free main ingredients tablet size count everything. EXCEPT THE FILLER! the wax coating on these makes them literally junk when trying to crush them. wasting half the product stuck to the skins or outer coating whatever you want to call it it's not the same product be careful what you purchase make sure you check the ingredients the one that I prefer main inactive ingredient is CORNSTARCH EQUALS GOOD! CARNAUBA WAX EQUALS BAD. also and trying to get a side-by-side photos of these. in the compare chart of products similar it shows the same anti allergy medication as treating fever in children. this is not treat fever and children or anyone for that matter. Walmart should do a better job making these listings when it comes to anything consumable especially medications that are frequently given to children
