Equate Maximum Strength Famotidine 20mg Tablets, 200 Count, Compare to Maximum Strength Pepcid® AC Active Ingredient

I've been using Equate Maximum Strength Famotidine 20mg Tablets, 200 Count for a few weeks, and it works just as well as the more expensive name-brand Pepcid AC for my occasional heartburn. It calms acid quickly and doesn't upset my stomach, and the large bottle is great value for the price. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for effective relief without spending a lot.

it's safe to take while pregnant. it works FAST. you can take it before you eat after you eat while you're eating. I often pair it with a simethicone to prevent heartburn and it gets rid of the acid reflux burn as well. always take one if I'm going to eat tomato based sauces or fatty foods. keeps my esophagus from being on fire.

this pepcid AC generic equate brand has always been my go-to. always need to have it on hand ... it works very well and soothes the stomach it seems to get rid of stomach aches or indigestion problems for me. I have used this product for years and years and couldn't be without it comfortably. was also used in recommended by the nursing home convalescent center that I have worked in. most doctors prescribe pepcid AC tablets and this is essentially the very same thing at a much less cost.

I had never used this before (or the brand name either) but have been experiencing heartburn/acid reflux lately that has been miserable. I think I have tried pretty much everything else though. I just take one of these little pills and within very few minutes, all of that burning sensation is gone. I suppose it could be "beginners' luck" and the relief could fade as I get used to it, but for now, I feel soooo much better!!!!!

I discovered through my AI App, that this was great for stopping some of the weird symptoms that leaky gut syndrome can cause. Leaky gut syndrome as well as IBS, can in some people, cause your body to release too much histamine. This can make your skin feel sensitive, or itchy, especially your arms, forehead, face, and eyebrows etc. This medication is a blessing to me!

Doctor prescribed. I found it more cost effective to purchase the Equate version. The exact same medicine and strength. I also like the square shape that differentiates it from other medications. Taken in the AM before a meal has given the expected relief.

These are just as good as the brand name. I like the square shape, so i dont mix them up with other meds. And they look like the brand name product. Please keep the square shape. They help my stomach very much. Thank you for making this product.

I am taking these twice a day for my gut. I have very noisy intestines and stomach. These work if I stick to bland foods but if I eat anything else, not so good. I hate taking ANY medications because all we are and always have been, is guinea pigs to big pharma.

It hardly feels like a 10mg tab. It doesn't give that relief that it should after 15 minutes max. Maybe it's because it's generic. Usually that doesn't matter but sometimes it really does- maybe this is one of those times.
