I have been using this brand for years. Spring Valley is on par with the more expensive brands as the ingredients of their supplements are of good quality. The size is a bit big so I have to be sure to have a drink ready to get the pills down. The taste is on the bitter side. Sorry, but yuck. And a bit chalky. However, I have had good results with the use of this supplement. It does help with my arthritis.
I take two of these day because my doctor told me that I should because I'm older and my bones need to be strong. I did get a bone density test recently and I'm at 105%. So evidently it's working !!!
It is always important to speak not only with your doctor but also your nutritionist and naturalist. Everyone just grabbing a bottle off the shelf of whatever vitamin/supplement are making a really big mistake. Every two people are not alike, and everybody doesn't have the exact same needs. When it finally comes down to a plan on adding supplements to help in your everyday needs and life the next thing you need to know is "Which one?" Talk this over with your nutritionist and your naturalist too. Do your homework. After all, it is your body that you are trying to help live happier, healthier, and longer. For me, Spring Valley fits nearly everything in the dosage, and strength amount that I need daily. When I say "nearly everything" it means when it comes to supplements Spring Valley covers just how much I need of what supplement, the form in which I can easily take it, and they have everything that I need to know right on the label. Between Spring Valley, my doctor, my nutritionist, my naturalist, and me (which is very important) we came together with what works best for my daily life. Choosing Walmart was a decision made by me because Walmart brings it to my door via FedEx when I can't get out to the store myself. They even send me reminders a week before I run out. Now that is awesome.
Since I need to take a calcium pill every day I did my best to find one that I thought would be the best. It has all the necessary ingredients that I wanted. Although the pill for me is on the large size I can get it down. I would recommend purchase
I need an extra 1200mg of calcium daily and even though I need to take 2 of these to get that amount I would rather take this brand than another, the pills are easy to swallow and don’t get caught in my throat like others, and also don’t have any weird aftertaste
I know for a fact that these pills do the job. My blood work shows I was low in calcium so my doctor prescribed me to take calcium pills. I chose these and new blood work two weeks later shows my calcium to be up in normal range. The pills are kind of large, but they work.
These pills are large but the coating makes them easy to swallow. There is absolutely no after taste.
I have been taking it for about 4 years. It has helped me through ankle surgery which included a bone fusion and continues to help me keep my calcium and Vitamin D levels up. I recommend it!
Low calcium! So now I take calcium pills. They are big. My calcium has gone up a little since starting them. The are working pretty good. A spoon of yogurt helps get them down. One thing that's good is they don't taste bad.
I need my order!!!!!!!. Please find it and send it to me. And no more AI. Human. Human. human. Something like a human would help get my medication to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AI is a failure!!!!!!!!
