I love these cleansing pads. They are much cheaper than name brands like Clearasil and Noxzema, but work just as well. My only complaint is that the pad is smaller and a bit thinner than the name brand products. Otherwise, they help to clear up acne and leave my skin feeling super clean.
This does a good job keeping acne off my face, especially in the humid, sweaty summer months. For my face, it's like a shower in a jar; removing sweat and dirt from my oily face.
Fist off, they didn't have any of this in any of the stores in town. Instead of just not getting it, they ordered it from Haslet Texas. It took a day or two more to get it but I got it. Now the product. It's great. It has little ridges to exfoliate. I love it.
I have very sensitive skin (adult cystic acne, dermatitis) and this unexpectedly works very, very well. I originally bought it to wipe down my face before using a VR headset but have used it almost every day to dry out my problem areas and it's been very handy! Not a magical cure by any means but it definitely helps, especially if you are too lazy to wash your face or skin that day, and most importantly it doesn't make it *worse* unlike a majority of skincare items I've used. The only issue I've had is that it always leaves a weird feeling on the surface of my skin. It isn't sticky though. It's hard to describe. I'd imagine that's a natural consequence of the salicylic acid and it's nothing a damp cloth or paper towel can't entirely fix, which is good.
The smell is so strong and the extreme cooling sensation makes you clinch your fists because of it. Do not stand in front of a fan when you're trying to dry it, it makes it worse. Other than that, it's not bad! Dries my type of skin, so much so it makes my nose peel. I use one thingy after the shower, then my other skin products. I recommend giving it a try because of how “cleansed” I feel after. Good luck!
The alcohol is so strong on this one my eyes watered and felt it in my nose. I am not used to that. Was looking for a simple salicylic acid wipe which usually does not smell like that.
They were out of Noxzema the brand that I've been using for thirty years or so. I missed the email about the substitute ( my fault) so they gave me these. My biggest issue is the smell, witch hazel smell is really strong. They're kinda thick but very soft .
I regularly use the Stridex pads but these are NOT the same. They BURN and they added menthol. I thankfully was able to wash most of it off, but my face is in pain.
this is basically alcohol with a little bit of salicylic acid added to it as an afterthought. i have mostly clear skin, oily/dry. this product, equate acne pads, has given me a very painful breakout. it itches, it hurts to touch, and i feel like a greasy slice of cheap pizza. avoid this product at all costs.
Damaged in transit. Delivered to my front door in an obviously OPENED envelope with spray cans of paint. Nice.
